We had the best steak we've ever had Wednesday night. We had smelled grilled steak and followed our senses to the Oak. Sure enough meat and veggies were being grilled over a wood fire.It was noisy but we sat at the Chef's Bar and watched lots of lovely meals being prepared. Every chef seemed to calmly and expertly prepare their... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was delicious - very unique combination of ingredients (meatballs with grits, for example - excellent!). The service was really good as well, very attentive without breathing down your neck. Not inexpensive, but very memorable cuisine. We will be back!

Went here twice while visiting my daughter. This place is great! The first night we sat at the chef's bar and had the "happy hour" chef's choice wine -a delicious merlot. For dinner I had the house ricotta and smoked corn ravioli - absolutely delicious. My daughter had the wood-grilled eggplant. Everything was fresh, locally sourced and made right on... More

We were a pain - we arrived at 930, people kept joining our group, one of our diners was gluten free.... and everyone at Oak was nothing but accommodating and friendly. Everything I had was just delicious - a spicy cocktail, a rare wine, half of the small plates, two of the entrees (our table shared).... a great experience!!

We were a party of three without reservations on a very busy Friday fo lunch. We could not get a table but sat at the bar which proved very comfortable and a great spot to watch the line chefs prepare food. We loved everything! The food was superb--I tried the hamburger which had wonderful flavor and was cooked to perfection,... More

Restaurant was loud but the food was absolutely delicious. The wait staff was friendly, the meal was served at a nice pace. You didn't feel rushed. Will return on our next visit.

We returned for our 3rd visit to this restaurant in August. We don't live in the area but we went here twice during our last trip to Boulder so that will tell you how much we love it. The kale salad is fantastic. All of the food is terrific and the large drink menu is an adventure. The service is... More

* Trip Advisor currently rates this as the #8 restaurant in Boulder, but it's our #1! GO HERE. * We got a reservation 2 hours before we arrived. Amazing! * Un-pretentious, organic, earthy atmosphere. Clean, simple design of the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. * Wonderful, considerate, thoughtful wait staff. We loved our waiter, as he knew so much about... More

Oak was recommended to me by some in the know friends from Boulder. Service was knowledgable and friendly, and the menu is fun and diverse. I love to over order and try everything and that we did. The meatballs with polenta were outstanding as was the roasted eggplant. The absolute star of the night was the crispy ancho glazed pork... More

Had a lovely lunch out on the patio. Started with one of the weekly specials, gazpacho soup, which was most unusually prepared. They brought a bowl of lovely ripe yellow and orange tomatoes and then poured a clear gazpacho broth over the diced tomatoes. The soup was both beautiful and extremely delicious. I think I am going to be dreaming... More
