Stopped in for lunch, having been here years ago when it was a different place. I liked it then, and like it even more now. It has an open kitchen, which adds to the liveliness of the stainless steel, tile, and yes, oak modern decor. Except for the hostess, the staff was all male, and dressed in dark jeans and... More

We sat out on a cold day and ordered several of the small plates, the Oak bone marrow was outstanding. The homemade Chinese sausage, spaghetti and the beers were excellent. They kindly accommodated us at the bar to finish our beers as it got too cold outside for us, the barman Jonathan is quite the showman!

Go early and make sure to order the burger before 5 pm. Feeling adventurous? Pay $6 for a bartender's choice cocktail or $20 for a bottle of wine. You get to choose red or white, that's it. Great spot for late night food, your other opportunity to try the best burger in Boulder.

Beef short ribs were fantastic. Melted in your mouth! Small apps were tastey, I didn't want to share. Service was great. Every time I leave though I smell like a campfire.

Strolled in based on an employee's recommendation at Patagonia. Was very pleasantly surprised! Great food, great service.

I love Oak. It's where I bring my parents when they come to visit and where I go for special occasions. The meats they smoke in-house have always been delicious. The ramen is no Momofuku but its the best I've had this side of the Mississippi. Hot tip: Late night at Oak is great. Still a pretty full menu and... More

We were shopping on Pearl on a Saturday and decided to stop for lunch. What a great experience. The service was super and only outdone by the food. Had a table by the window - ask for one if you can but the menu is the selling point. We will be back.

Had dinner this past Monday night with friends. Appetizers were delicious (meatballs, shrimp/grits). A bit disappointed that when we asked for a 2nd bottle of the wine we ordered, we were told they didn't have it. They should know better and tell you that when you order the first. But they had a good recommendation for a 2nd. Service was... More

Had the Oak Grilled Pekin Duck from their Valentine's Day prix fixe menu. Simply excellent! Also the Hamachi Crudo appetizer paired with Odell Brewing's Friek Sour Ale ...amazing! Third time going to Oak... will be going much more.
