I went here for lunch and stayed around for their excellent mid-day low price menu. If you are interested in food, take a seat at the bar and watch how all of the food is prepared. They use fresh, local ingredients and run a clean and efficient process. The chef was friendly enough to talk me through how they make... More

Ate here on a Thursday night. Place was full, reservations needed. Food was excellent, especially the short ribs. Good waitstaff. Nice ambiance. Kind of pricey for Boulder - $50+ per head. The not so good is that the noise level is appalling. Could hardly hear the people at our own table. Would suggest the management re-do the ceilings with some... More

Best meal and service in a long time. Very memorable anniversary dinner Oak at Fourteenth far surpassed all expectations I could have ever had. I visited with my wife for our anniversary dinner. I had expected a high priced, underwhelming experience, with only ok food and not good service. Stephen B our waiter did an outstanding job all evening, and... More

My husband planned an anniversary dinner for us at Oak on Fourteenth, and it was special from start to finish. Service was outstanding and began with complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary. We shared a grilled eggplant with feta appetizer and a cabbage salad, both were outstanding with wonderful flavors. We ordered and shared the braised short ribs with... More

We ate at Oak at Fourteenth as part of a trip that took us to Boulder and into Denver. Of all the restaurants in which we ate, this was by far the best meal we had. One earlier reviewer indicated that the restaurant was noisy. Although I would agree that it was a little on the loud side, the quality... More

We only had a short time in Boulder and with all the great restaurants there we were glad we found Oak at 14th! When you walk in the door you feel the open, hip, friendly vibe. Our server,Joel, took excellent care of us from the moment we sat down. We was thoughtful and well educated both on Oak's menu and wine... More

Excellent food, needed reservation on a Sunday evening. Do not order root beer no flavor. Excellent Port choices. Good wine choices. I had the short ribs which was flavorful, tasty and would definitely order again. The clams with charizo as an appetizer was good but not spicy at all. Mexican charizo and not spanish. Great choices of beer. Able to... More

With so many choices in Boulder I'm glad we found this place! Food was incredible, service was outstanding. Waitress made nice suggestions and explained the menu well. Went with our 18 year old prospective CU student who wasn't looking forward to a stuffy atmospher but it was far from it! Geat vibe. Would go back again.

Oak has such creative drinks and the menu is laid out ranging from low alcohol to high alcohol content- depending on what kind of night you are looking for. The bar area is bright and comfortable. The decor overall is clean and hip. The food is fantastic- from fried pickles to tuna tartar on fried green tomatoes. Literally everything I... More
