Oak was recommended to me by some in the know friends from Boulder. Service was knowledgable and friendly, and the menu is fun and diverse. I love to over order and try everything and that we did. The meatballs with polenta were outstanding as was the roasted eggplant. The absolute star of the night was the crispy ancho glazed pork... More

Had a lovely lunch out on the patio. Started with one of the weekly specials, gazpacho soup, which was most unusually prepared. They brought a bowl of lovely ripe yellow and orange tomatoes and then poured a clear gazpacho broth over the diced tomatoes. The soup was both beautiful and extremely delicious. I think I am going to be dreaming... More

We stopped in for a light dinner before a performance at UCB. It was a great choice! We sat at the "chef's bar" and were entertained and educated. The menu is very unique and offers great choices. The wine menu is also very good. Service was attentive and professional. The food and drink were excellent. We wish we lived closer... More

I've had dinner at Oak twice in the past couple of months and both experiences were perfect. Virtually everyone we came in contact with was happy, and delighted to serve us drinks and food. The Old Fashions here are the best I've ever had, and the food is equally good. Plus, you have great views of Pearl Street and are... More

I just enjoyed one of the better meals I've had in Boulder for some time. We enjoyed a variety of small plates at Oak. We tried everything from a kale/apple salad to hamachi collar to meatballs to pork belly. All were served with an excellent blend of flavor and presentation to make for a delicious meal. For instance, the pork... More

Have eaten here twice and constantly changing menu and interesting food pairings that you have to try to see what the chefs were thinking. Very popular place, also inventive bar menu and would recommend order small plates or entrees and plate share to try all the flavors. The staff encourages this also. Great service and knowledgable staff. The place to... More

We had not been to The Oak so we decided to try a few different items...I ordered a half chicken baked in a wood fired oven. Excellent taste and cooked correctly but served on a a few chips (yes small cut chips) of asparagus and one small 1 inch purple potato for $25.00. We ordered a beat salad that I... More

Walked through Pearl Sreet and enjoyed a balmy evening. Got seated outside. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. We had glass of Genteel and my husband had a Fat Tire beer. We shared two small plates of beet salad (as awesome as the one concocted by the chef in Exeter Lodge in South Africa.) with arugula, mozzeralla cheese and... More
