Service Staff is great! Attentive and devote time to you to explain all you need to know. Expensive for the size of portions. About the dishes I will go from best to not so good: -Banana Pudding Dessert: Incredible! -Kale Salad: very good, great way to serve Kale, so easy to eat. -Bone Marrow: needs more salt but good. -Braised... They have a Pork shoulder dish that says it serves 3-4. It was as big as mt torso! We could have easily fed 6! Melt in your mouth! The East Aspen Heights cocktail was also a highlight. Service was fantastic. Oh and the salted caramel dessert was Devine.

My wife and I go to Oak every few weeks, as we love the chef's bar in front of the wood fire oven, the food and usually the service. Unfortunately, since Oak opened a Denver location Chef Steve has been absent and it shows at the Boulder location. The menu is always enticing. Execution has suffered. We have noted that... More

Having major surgery tomorrow and had to have their incredible ramen one more time. We got there right before 1pm when they were closing for a private party set up. The manager ushered us to the bar for "a half hour if we ate quick". They let others in up to 15 minutes after we came in and didn't make... More

A co-worker of mine and I were recently in Boulder and walking Pearl Street to find a place to eat. Oak looked interesting from the outside so we gave it a try. What a great experience. If you can eat at the chef's bar, its incredible to watch the kitchen and also interact with the chef. Definitely give the meatballs... More

I am a frequent business visitor to Boulder and have never had memorable restaurant experiences until last night, at Oak on Fourteenth. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere casual, but the food is absolutely off-scale: not fancied up in an artsy way as with many high-priced establishments, but just fantastic taste combinations anchored in wonderful food. The staff are... More

That's correct. Bourbon Bacon Milkshake. Might be the best thing I've ever eaten. The restaurant was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent food in a business casual environment. Not too stuffy, but not t-shirt casual either. We loved the fried pickles, my wife enjoyed the 1/2 chicken, and I had the pork tenderloin. The kitchen is open, and it's... More

I wanted to give Oak five stars but was only able to give four stars because of one of the meals. My wife and son ordered the 30 ounce T-bone steak which was fantastic. It was melt in your mouth good and came with nice sides. I had a cask conditioned beer on tap which was very tasty and my... More

Went to dinner here early, the place was packed when I visited on a Sunday night. The service was great, with a lively atmosphere with the kitchen right in front so you could see all the action. For an appetizer I started with the Crispy Pickles, then had the special fish entree. Food was awesome. A must stop when in... More

we went there for the 1st time on Saturday night for my husband's birthday. We were seated in the side room which was great as it was quieter. Our server was very helpful and explained the process to us, giving up a heads up that the entrees are cooked to order so might take longer.... The portion sizes were great... More
