So sorry to leave Boulder! I want to return one more time!

We tried to get a table on 2 hours notice last night (Saturday) but couldn't get a reservation. But we were encouraged to come and try to get seats at the bar. Warmly greeted upon our arrival, we were immediately seated at the bar and the fun started immediately. In the very capable hands of... read more

Went to this restaurant at happy hour to try some of their acclaimed wine selections. The wine was limited for happy hour but the Oak has a good selection of cocktails for happy hour. The food on their appetizer list was amazing. Creative and tasty. Especially their desserts. Would definitely go again for happy hour and stay for dinner if... More

I had dinner here with a large business meeting and the food was great. The kale salad, lamb, and all the appetizers were delicious. Highly recommended for a nice dinner.

Oak is perhaps the best restaurant in Boulder and I have been to many. However, you should be prepared for noise. The restaurant is inevitably full and unless you are in the private room, it is difficult to be heard. Nevertheless, the lamb and chicken are outstanding. Best to go there with a large group so you can sample some... More

Where do you go when you don't want fancy food, but you want amazing locally sourced food with a true Boulder vibe and impeccable service? You go here. This place was recommended to me by a colleague who lives right outside of Boulder. We were heading to Colorado for Spring Break with our 2 teenage boys and a 10 year... More

We were a group of 12 and the waitstaff managed the table very well. We ordered a wide variety of appetizers and each one was excellent. We ordered the Rib Eye and the Lamb and I would have to say the steak one out. The lamb was very chewy and difficult to eat. When you order a glass of wine,... More

Dined at Oak to celebrate commencement from CU. The food was excellent. I had the sea bass and the layers of flavors were delicious. Other members of our party had the chicken and octopus they said that is was very good. Pairing of the ingredients for each dish made everything delicious. Service was excellent and attentive. They also signed a... More

After doing some hiking in Boulder, we planned to get a quality lunch in downtown. Oak at Fourteenth delivered in a grandiose manner. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits, while my burger was incredible. Both of our cocktails were delicious, and I had to have the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. I am excited to return to this restaurant for... More

Best meal I had in Boulder! Accompanying the excellent food was superior service. Our server and assistant server were top-notch and in no way overwhelming. The restaurant itself has great ambiance and looks/feels clean. We were lucky that we got a table without a reservation as this place was packed the entire time we were there..

Stopped in for lunch, having been here years ago when it was a different place. I liked it then, and like it even more now. It has an open kitchen, which adds to the liveliness of the stainless steel, tile, and yes, oak modern decor. Except for the hostess, the staff was all male, and dressed in dark jeans and... More
