You had us until desert

Apps and dinner was delicious but the desert portions were tiny...almost to the point of ridiculous. I will most definitely be back but I'll get my sweet tooth fix elsewhere.

All of the food I've had here has been top notch. Tasty, well-prepared, well-presented. Service very good. Well-considered wine list. The menu may be a bit unconventional. A half dozen or more charcuterie/cheese/bread items. Numerous pizzas. Three "plates" (oysters, gnocco -- one large I assume -- scallops). Three salads. And a wood-roasted chicken, whole colorado bass and a bone-in ribeye... More

I saw that this place made 5280 magazine's "Top 25 Denver Area Restaurants", but when I checked the menu on line, I was a little skeptical. No more. Yes, the menu is limited, but there's plenty to choose from, and everything we had was truly exceptional. Every single ingredient was primo, down to the noticeably superior olives on the Romaine... I've come to bacco for years and my family and I have always loved your food at service. within the past six months the prices have sky rocketed and the service has plummeted. The other day our waiter completely forgot about us and another waiter had to help us out. The prices and service was rediculous and I willl not... More

Foodie delight! My dad and I ate there after my dad saw a video of the place that was done 2 years ago about pairing beers with pizza. My dad has a special interest in wood-fired ovens as he has built his own and cooks great pizzas out of it each summer & fall. For dinner, we shared the wood-fired... More

Love this little place! The atmosphere is hip and welcoming, the service is always great. The food is beautiful. Simple, clean, wholesome and wonderful. The pizzas are the stars of the show but the appetizers are wonderful. The Duck Rillette and Burrata are fantastic along with the cheese ans salumi boards. Even the salads are great!

Always of the highest quality whether it is their super thin crusted (flash cooked in their 900+ degree oven), the whole fish (only place in Boulder to have a whole salt water fish) or the hand cured specialty meat... Pizzeria Basta is truly a hidden gem. BTW, the house wines are exceptional and so are the desserts.

I have lived in boulder for years and didn't know about this place, I recently visited to celebrate my birthday and the food is by far some of the most impressive I have ever eaten in and outside of Colorado. the pizza is exceptional, they make their own fresh cheese and crust and their meats come from new york. I... More

I was so excited to try this place because of the great online reviews, but unfortunately our experience didn't measure up to the hype. Our waitress was nice, and recommended some meat and cheese starters, she also informed us that the oven can only hold 3 pizzas at once so not everyone in our party would be able to order... More

Great place for quality pizza. What a wonderful meal! The cart pusher pizza was wonderful. The oysters were also very good. I would recommend this place for sure!
