Yes, I did miss something. For starters, service. A guy with a water pitcher immediately poured me a glass of water, but he wasn't my waiter. After about 7 minutes, a gal who I had seen standing near the kitchen area came over to take my order. There was an inexcusable sloppiness to the whole approach. I ordered and was... More

A colleague and I ate at Salt really late in their final sitting, but were not rushed. The food was great, good ingredients, well presented and cooked very well. Their chicken and steak main dishes were very good indeed. Good drinks recommendations & service was prompt, attentive but not intrusive.

This was a favorite for all five in our party, including two teens. We were only in Boulder for a day, checking out Pearl St. Mall and happened upon Salt for lunch. The restaurant was nicely appointed for the area and very comfortable. We all enjoyed the steak salad, the vegetable sampler, the chicken pesto sandwich and two other salads... More

The food was very good. I had the salmon and it was delicate and tasty. Those in our party had a variety of dinner dishes. The steak was "ok", the gnocchi was delicious as was the lamb. The food portions are average. The deserts are amazing. You will enjoy any of the selections. The only drawback was the wait for... More

Salt seems to be catching up quickly to its neighbor The Kitchen. I ate at Salt two nights in a row and both experiences were wonderful.Quality ingredients, reasonable prices and friendly staff is the name of the game at Salt...

Salt has a good atmosphere and a good menu. Given other not as good meals I had had on this trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. They seem to be using quality ingredients and not charging a premium. Well worth a visit.

Salt has a reputation for high quality; we clearly missed that in our most recent visit. The service and the ambiance are the only two redeeming features. Our server was very professional, attentive, and kind. However, she had little with which to work in order to make our dining experience worth the time. The food was, and I hate to... More

The burgers were good but the fries were delicious, and the homemade ketchup very tasty. Our server made the experience at Salt all the more pleasant.

Food is okay, however Rachel should not be in the service industry. We had a very special event planned at Salt for a year and only due to the fact that we had a rather large deposit did we keep the reservation for 35 people as she screwed up the every course we had planned- first, dinner, dessert and wine... Try the make it yourself cocktails - request vodka, lavender simple syrup and limoncello. You won't be disappointed. Last night we had the mushroom gnocchi, and it was absolutely delightful, as in I was delighted with every single bite and ate until I was completely full. My hubby had the burger, and while it WAS incredible, I couldn't stop stealing... More
