We were a group of six who visited SALT on a week night for dinner. We had reservations, which were quickly honored. We had a cozy booth near the open kitchen, which was good for conversation. Those were the good points. Our server seemed very anxious, unsure and disorganized. Our drinks came very slowly. When we asked about specials for... More

The reviews on Salt seemed to be mixed lately, but we had never been and decided to try it. Very glad we did! The create-your-own cocktail combination was a fun option -didn't even mean to have a cocktail but then decided to try something. The food was all very tasty, nicely presented, and creatively combined (tuna with cucumbers and melon... More

Food was just superb in a fun atmosphere, with attentive service. Good selection of local brews too.

I liked the unique options and combinations. Food presentation was excellent and staff was attentive to every need. There were some hits and misses at our table. Burger was subpar but staff did suggest to diner that they should order something else and the evening special was a fatty piece of meat. Others loved their meals and appetizers were excellent.... SALT was a great spot. It was selected by a client and I was very impressed. The host staff was excellent - funny and nice upon arrival. The bar staff was very attentive and offered trials of some house aged martinis and hand crafted drinks. SALT has an excellent beer and wine menu as well as a great selection of... More

Large Boulder restaurant right on Pearl Street. It has a lot of energy so it can by loud, Good food but not outstanding.

This used to be Tom's Tavern, which was well known as a dive bar, albeit with great burgers. Salt has maintained the burger tradition, but also has great locally sourced food and fantastic cocktails. I make sure to visit every time we go. Note: this is not a quiet place, so it's not the place for intimate conversation.

So we stopped here on a visit passing through Boulder and it was late around 845pm or so on a weds...but still pretty crowded. Overall it was not a bad choice: the burger I ordered was very good, locally sourced beef of course ;) and my husband's homemade pasta was tasty as well. The garlicy greens side dish was my... More

We had heard a lot of good things about Salt, so we stopped for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We dined outside because it was a gorgeous day! My husband got a burger, which he enjoyed. I had the sandwich/salad combo that came with a small desert. Our waiter was either busy or neglectful. We ran out of water several... More

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. The food and drinks were excellent. Very creative menu that is well-executed. The table-side service was attentive and sincere (not faux as so often happens at upscale eateries). However, the delivery of the food took much longer than it should have, and a BLT was initially missing the "B". With a little more focus... More
