The food was very good. I had the salmon and it was delicate and tasty. Those in our party had a variety of dinner dishes. The steak was "ok", the gnocchi was delicious as was the lamb. The food portions are average. The deserts are amazing. You will enjoy any of the selections. The only drawback was the wait for... More

Salt seems to be catching up quickly to its neighbor The Kitchen. I ate at Salt two nights in a row and both experiences were wonderful.Quality ingredients, reasonable prices and friendly staff is the name of the game at Salt...

Salt has a good atmosphere and a good menu. Given other not as good meals I had had on this trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the price. They seem to be using quality ingredients and not charging a premium. Well worth a visit.

Salt has a reputation for high quality; we clearly missed that in our most recent visit. The service and the ambiance are the only two redeeming features. Our server was very professional, attentive, and kind. However, she had little with which to work in order to make our dining experience worth the time. The food was, and I hate to... More

The burgers were good but the fries were delicious, and the homemade ketchup very tasty. Our server made the experience at Salt all the more pleasant.

Food is okay, however Rachel should not be in the service industry. We had a very special event planned at Salt for a year and only due to the fact that we had a rather large deposit did we keep the reservation for 35 people as she screwed up the every course we had planned- first, dinner, dessert and wine... Try the make it yourself cocktails - request vodka, lavender simple syrup and limoncello. You won't be disappointed. Last night we had the mushroom gnocchi, and it was absolutely delightful, as in I was delighted with every single bite and ate until I was completely full. My hubby had the burger, and while it WAS incredible, I couldn't stop stealing... More

Salt has a somewhat limited menu but everything we had was wonderful. The pork belly appetizer was super crisp and super good, as was the flat bread with prosciutto and vegetables. Best main dish was the shrimp but steak was also very good and wonderful service at the sidewalk tables. Adding your own pinch of salt to the butter is... More

I went to Salt with a few friends and we had a great dinner. Started off with the SC Sour cocktail: Bourbon, amaretto, vanilla simple syrup, fresh lemon, and egg whites. Amazing, easily one of the best cocktails I have ever had. Then I had the Shrimp Farfalle with bacon, spinich, fava beans, shaved radish, and white wine garlic cream... More
