Tasty Drinks

Nice place to stop in to have a drink and get a meal. I did not eat on this stop but some of the folks I was with did. They had the mussels dish and raved about it. I just had a couple drinks and chatted with Rachel the bartender. She gave us lots of tips on things to do... read more

Salt is located in the former Tom's Tavern, which in the old days was the funeral parlor for Boulder. After Tom passed away, the new owners renovated the place very nicely, but kept some of the old character. The food is excellent. We had the steak and also a Tom's Burger with fries, both excellent. Very good service. Prices upscale.... More

We had a business lunch with three people, starting a little later in the afternoon, so we did not have to wait. The place was very busy but the service was first rate. We had a variety of dishes, which were all good. The menu is not large but there were plenty of great dishes to choose from.

Salt is a longtime favorite of ours, and our most recent visit did not disappoint. We stopped in for drinks, and our favorite dessert - the dark chocolate caramel salt tart -- so, so, so yummy. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was friendly and fun, and he whipped up a couple of excellent summer drinks based on... More

This place is a bit too pretentious for me but I sure do like the burger. The menu is small but they offer all natural, local options. I went with a large party from work and everyone got one of the more expensive meals. I opted for Tom's burger (Salt is the location of the former famous Tom's Tavern here... More

We went here last Saturday at around 6:00pm and was told the next table would be at 9:00pm. However, we were told we could sit at the bar in the basement. We went downstairs and the bar was empty. It was much quieter and nice because we had the full attention of the bartender. The bartender had just come back... More

We made last minute reservations here as we were walking around Pearl Street and I'm so happy we did! We sat in a large booth in the basement that just oozes atmosphere (and which we didn't even know was there). The hostesses were warm and welcoming and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and helpful without being obtrusive. The food was... More

The sidewalk tables at Salt provide a wonderful opportunity for people watching of the Pearl Street Mall pedestrian traffic. You can even have your dog join you on the sidewalk outside of the table area. However, if the weather and/or temperature requires you to move inside, that's okay. The food is unique (try the quinoa burger) and tasty. Service was... More

We enjoyed dinner here with our college aged children. The food was good. The atmosphere was nice and service was friendly. However, all of our 4 meals were tasty but unremarkable. The gluten free bread was just "okay."
