The food was above average. The Chicken Piccata was flavorful, but tough. Chicken Marsala the same. Gnocchi was nothing to write home about. The disappointing thing was that the entrees came an HOUR after the salads, despite the fact that we were the occupied only table in the restaurant at 7:00 on a Saturday night. Yikes!

I love this restaurant. From the stuffed bacon wrapped dates and olives starter to the salad with a light and lovely dressing to the fabulous butternut squash soup....every bite I was saying, "oooooohhhhh!" We also shared the Gnocchi with wonderful gravy (sauce) and it was excellent. Thier bread with olive oil is just yummy. I would go here once a... More

My husband and I had a Living Social voucher for Trattoria on Pearl so decided to have dinner there before a concert at the Boulder Theater. Big mistake. Although the restaurant has a nice feel, the wine was great, and our server friendly and knowledgeable, the food was horrible. I got the pan-sauteed salmon with broccoli and red pepper sauce.... Everything is out of a can. The NY STRIP I had I believe was a lesser cut of meat from Costco. My Date had the Ossobucco which was tough as leather, obviously frest out of the microwave. Horrible rot gut wine. The owner is running a restaurant he clearly doesnt care about. We were one of the only tables in... More

Boulder is a foodie paradise. So many good restaurants including Italian. The Trattoria on Pearl offers the most bland, tasteless version of a variety of Italian favorites. So why is this place still around at a prime location? One of the puzzles of the universe.

Try one of the flights of Wine, the Italian flight was our favorite with all good selections. Seafood was outstanding

Our first time here, place was totally empty but it was a Tues night and the location is on the quieter east end of the mall. We were only people but waitstaff was great and friendly and made sure we were attended to :) Bread = delicious, nice and warm with a side of olive oil with some parm and... More

Very good food and the service was good as well. A nice menu with something for everyone. Gnocchi was great. Chocolate pudding dessert may sound simple - but was fantastic. Well priced, and a nice location, outside seating available. An easy comfortable spot for a nice dinner.
