Blackhawk Gem

Hidden gem in Blackhawk! So glad that my husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We walked from the Isle Casino (about 1 mile). The coffee shop was easy to find. The coffee was great! He had a regualr mocha while I had a white mocha, not too sweet. He had the breakfast sammy and said it was quite... read more

This was a nice place for breakfast. They made the breakfast to order. A nice, quiet location. Would be a bit difficult to walk to, but they have plenty of parking.

Very good coffee and brownee! The inside was nice and cozy, and the barista was friendly. Highly recommended to get away from all of the casinos.

In the midst of a bunch of casinos, this little gem is great for a cup of coffee or a meal. The food is excellent for a small place and the new owners are friendly and efficient. We go here regularly and hate to give up our little secret!

Hubby and I ventured out in the snow to try Mountain Mocha Cafe and we were glad we did! Excellent coffee and tasty breakfast. We even purchased a couple 1/2 pound bags of ground coffee to take back home with us. Nice alternate to Starbucks. Will definitely visit again.
