We got to the casino area after checking into the hotel around 2PM. We hadn't had lunch yet, but we didn't want to eat a full meal that might spoil the appetite for supper. We wandered into the deli and got a ham and swiss sandwich to split in order to tide us over until supper. The bread was marbled... More

I've had almost everything in the menu and have not been disappointed. When you use your comps, the value goes through the roof!

Order from menu or pick something pre-made. Decent, basic, food quick. We had chef salads and it was large and fresh. Average priced, free drinks.

They had several options to choose from. We tried several things and everything was delicious. You get a big meal for a good price.

Had the mushroom Swiss burger. Delicious. Huge portions too. Husband tried the French dip. He enjoyed as well. Piled high with meat. No skimping here!

Food was adequate. Service was quick. Watch what you order because it will be served in a plastic box with plastic ware.

The food is always good. They serve large portions, it's a little more pricey than fast food but you get enough to share. One sandwich and one fry for approx $10 and it feeds 2 people. The worst dining area. They do not clean it or even take the trash off the tables. You have to clean your own area.... More

Wow, what a crap hole. Dirty, poor layout, horrible food. Walked away from it, seriously trashed the entire tray of processed, microwaved crap.. Would never eat there, or even go near the place. Look them on online, they barely even pass the health inspections. Always several critical fails. Do yourself a favor and go anyplace else.

Looking for a quick bite to eat? I would recommend Waypost Deli. We ate here and both enjoyed our meal. The cost was very reasonable also.

When I stay at the Ameristar I sometimes don't want the big buffet, so I go down to the Waypost Deli and order a light meal and take it back to my room. It's not as expensive as room service and I can watch TV and eat.
