Nice menu variety

They had a good variety of lunch offerings. The floor is super slippery though, my daughter fell and spilled her hot chocolate all over herself. The staff was great though, they brought us to a back room and took her clothes and put them in a dryer so she wasn't wet to go back out and ski.

The ambiance was good and the live background music just right and non-intrusive. Food was good and a little different - my companions had Elk and Bison. The interior of the building was beautiful and had interesting old American artefacts, including apparently Annie Oakley's rifle (which we missed!). Well worth a visit. We were originally booked for lunch but could... More

loved the roasted veggie enchiladas but my daughter ordered the venison tacos (prepared as recommended by the chef) Not sure if this is what did it, but later that night, she was ill and required a visit from the doctor. No way to confirm food poisoning, but certainly a red flag. Everyone else's meal was great and she really enjoyed... More

I enjoyed a Friday lunch here with friends in February. The food and service were very good, but what is really special is the architecture and decoration. You can read the history - built by Lehmann Bros before the GFC as an executive retreat - and decorated with an unlimited budget with wonderful pieces from western US history. Think good... More

This is the first season they're open for lunch and we're glad they are. It's great for that break day during a ski week or a lunch when the weather makes it less that a great ski day. You can ski to Saddle Ridge, but it's a lot easier to call a (free) local shuttle. The wine list is impressive... More

We came in for a busy lunch and Karen was fantastic! She is one of the best servers we have ever had in a restaurant, we will continue to visit her as the season progresses. Great food too!!!

This was the second time we have eaten here and it seemed the menu was different. It is limited without simple steaks and pork chops. the meats are game and they are tough. Only one fish dish was offered and nothing with pasta. We were with several teenagers and they didn't care for the menu. The place itself however is... More

Tucked out of the way, accessible by ski or shuttle service this restaurant is well worth a visit. Beautiful setting, full of western artifacts which are well worth spending time looking at not only in the restaurant but in the library below. A print out of the building history and artifacts is available which is well worth reading. Attended for... More

Skied in to have lunch and enjoyed good food and service. The comfy slippers/break from ski boots were a nice touch, and the rustic post and beam lodge interior is charming. Skiing out is not an option; however, they offer free snow mobile service back to the closest slope. Overall, a good find, though not the best lunchtime option if... More

Excellent food prepared perfectly, unequalled ambience, attentive service (not oppressive). Haunting music (by Leon) and personal attention by the GM made this property unique!
