We had a private dinner for a group of 20. To start off, the scenery is beautiful on the patio, and the ambience of the room makes it a pleasure to converse with colleagues or friends. Both the sea bass and steak were both cooked to perfection, and incredible quality. Dessert was a work of art. Really enjoyed the extensive... More

Must have eaten here 50 times over the past 15 years. It has never disappointed and only continues to get better. The ambiance is great as the views are wonderful and the setting is superb. My wife had a new dish, lobster gazpacho soup which was out of this world and so new and creative for this chef. I ate... More

This fancy, expensive restaurant sits far above Beaver Creek, with views from our patio table looking out to nearby mountains during the last hour of daylight. Our table setting was delightful and peaceful, though we could hear the live piano music in the distance and sounds from a cocktail party on another part of the deck. Our server was friendly,... Went to Splendido at the Chateau over the 4th of July. There were 14 of us and everyone tried something different. I sampled the lobster, Kobe steak and rabbit. All of it melted in my mouth. I expected less than superb service since there were so many of us but that is not what we received. We had 5 or... More

Six of us ate here last Thursday night for an informal business dinner. Superb food, beautifully presented, with outstanding service. Very expensive - $100 per person, with wine. One of the men felt it was a bit pretentious but that's to be expected; it's in Beaver Creek, for Heaven's sake. What's not pretentious?! I thought it was just great, with... More

The four of us were excited about having dinner at the Splendido several evenings ago, as it was highly recommended by a local friend. Extremely disappointing! The restaurant is known for its rack of lamb, which I ordered. It was tender, but completely tasteless. My husband had the Dover Sole and rated it a C-. Our friends had the Halibut... More

We've eaten here each time we come to Beaver Creek and we are never disappointed! The food is beautifully presented and the food will never disappoint your taste buds either! The staff is usually very attentive and spot on. I will be honest in saying that last night the staff was a bit "off" but we all have off days.... More

Visited as part of a large business dinner - and the food was terrific, with attentive service during both our meal and the cocktail hour prior. However, as a larger party we were seated by the kitchen and perhaps that, plus the general din of our party and the restaurant's other guests, made dinner table conversation hard to hear.

While in Beaver Creek we often dine at Splendido. So, when hosting friends for a long weekend, this was one of the restaurants we chose to take them to. Sadly, as the food was good, the service was terrible. We had a table of 8 ordering very nice wines and many courses. Granted it was busy but we couldn't get... More

We have resided in the Vail Valley for over 30 years. We have dined at nearly all restaurants in the Valley, but repeatedly have returned to Splendido. The menu is diverse with the highest quality ingredients from local sources that are combined by the talented chef into remarkably enjoyable dishes. The cuisine ranges from simple to gourmet with something for... More
