Nice food but overly salty for us

The braised short ribs and brussel sprouts stir-fry were great although too salty for our tastebuds. The rabbit ragout was ordinary and too salty to eat on its own. The rosemary crostini that accompanied mushroom soup was delicious.

We had dinner here and the small plates were good but not great. The wine selection is great. I'd go back for happy hour. Not great for kids, although the staff was super friendly to them.

Interesting comfortable place with a good selection of food, wines, and beers. Comfortably accommodated our party of 15. Pulled pork arepas, Brussels sprouts, bacon wrapped dates, lobster rolls, rabbit ragout, scallops and apricots, ahi tuna slices are just a few of their broad selection.

Most amazing evening made especially wonderful by the staff and chef at the Metropolitan!!! Can't say enough great things about the food, hospitality and atmosphere! We enjoyed our celebration without having to worry about any detail. The food was delicious and unique for this special occasion! Wonderful selection of wines and beverages! The event planner and manager made sure every... More

This was an awesome place to go after a week of steak, pizza, and burgers. Refreshing menu of tapas style items. Everything we had was superb. The kids' meatballs was too spicy even for the adults, FYI. There are comfy couches for groups to eat at, a wine by the glass dispenser, great staff, easy location in the BC Village...definitely... Novel concept with the wine vending machines, very good tapas. My one serious complaint is that It is always too hot! They really need to reevaluate their thermostat settings. If you can get past the heat it is a fun evening!

We went there three times in a 10 day stay which would be very unusual for us except that this place is excellent. Service is fantastic. Range of small plates / tapas is great. Went there two years ago and it was similarly very good. Highly recommended.

we walked to The Metropolitan on a snowy evening, Very easy to find. there is a nice selection of small dishes ( they say tapas- but no Spanish influences). I had shrimp and grits which was better than any shrimp and grits dish I ever ate including those in South Carolina and Georgia. I also had a mushroom dish- outstanding.... More
