Great service and good tapas

This is a great spot for casual dining and drinking. It is a nice alternative to the typical american continental / steakhouse / kid friendly pizza restaurants in the Beaver Creek village. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I like the atmosphere since it offers more of a casual setting with... read more

I endorse Micahlh comments below. Group of 3 for dinner and the place was very quiet and somewhat lacking in atmosphere.- in all fairness we were possibly dining a little later than usual. Food and service were ok not great. Personally I thought the meat/cheese board better than some of the tapas, which were quite 'Americanised' for a European palate.... More

My husband and I sat and the bar and enjoyed a bottle of Cristom, Pinot Noir. The tapas were great. Our favorite was the Agucate Picado, it was made FRESH and a perfect pairing with our wine. We had a lovely time chatting with the servers and other patrons as well. It has a welcoming atmosphere.

The braised short ribs and brussel sprouts stir-fry were great although too salty for our tastebuds. The rabbit ragout was ordinary and too salty to eat on its own. The rosemary crostini that accompanied mushroom soup was delicious.

We had dinner here and the small plates were good but not great. The wine selection is great. I'd go back for happy hour. Not great for kids, although the staff was super friendly to them.

Interesting comfortable place with a good selection of food, wines, and beers. Comfortably accommodated our party of 15. Pulled pork arepas, Brussels sprouts, bacon wrapped dates, lobster rolls, rabbit ragout, scallops and apricots, ahi tuna slices are just a few of their broad selection.

Most amazing evening made especially wonderful by the staff and chef at the Metropolitan!!! Can't say enough great things about the food, hospitality and atmosphere! We enjoyed our celebration without having to worry about any detail. The food was delicious and unique for this special occasion! Wonderful selection of wines and beverages! The event planner and manager made sure every... More

This was an awesome place to go after a week of steak, pizza, and burgers. Refreshing menu of tapas style items. Everything we had was superb. The kids' meatballs was too spicy even for the adults, FYI. There are comfy couches for groups to eat at, a wine by the glass dispenser, great staff, easy location in the BC Village...definitely... Novel concept with the wine vending machines, very good tapas. My one serious complaint is that It is always too hot! They really need to reevaluate their thermostat settings. If you can get past the heat it is a fun evening!

We always eat at "The Met" when we are in Beaver Creek - It's one of our favorites. Food and service is always fantastic.
