We found this place by accident in or second night in town. We went back every single night thereafter. The staff were funny and accommodating and knew the menu well. We tried most of it by the end of our trip :) my favorites at this place were: potatas bravas, pork tacos, a yummy malbec that I forgot the name... More

We found the met on our last night in town based in trip advisor reviews and they lived up to the hype! We were greeted by rob with waters and immediately told the specials and staff favorite menu items. We decided to get a wine card and enjoy some of the higher end Reds by the glass. We enjoyed the... We went a couple of times. The first time was to eat and drink and it was really good. I did not like their version of Tuna Poke but everything else was really good. The wine and other drinks were very good. I do recommend visiting this restaurant for both food and drinks.

Stopped in here for some wine and tapas. Both were great. We shared several dishes: the chicken, the chips au gratin, the deviled eggs and the meat/cheese board. All were delicious. The staff were very helpful and the manager checked in on us a few times. We would absolutely stop back in.

i think Metropolitan is one of the better places to eat in Beaver Creek. It's Tapas style is unique in that you choose how much you want to eat as opposed to many places delivering over laden plates. The food is well cooked and high quality, and served by very friendly waiters. Blended with its excellent vin selection, I recommend... More

Without a reservation, on the weekend in Beaver Creek, most of the restaurants were full, but we were delighted to find the Metropolitan had a free table for us. The manager was welcoming and a great character. Wines available by the glass dispensed from one of those groovy gas storage devices to preserve the wine. Interesting wine list. Tapas menu... More

We first visited The Metropolitan in September, 2014 and had such a memorable meal, this was my family's first choice for dinner out on our January, 2015 trip. We were glad we returned! The service was excellent - attentive, yet relaxed. We ordered the beet caprese, potatas bravas, oysters, crab cakes, and duck confit taco. All were delicious but we... More

The steamy, full restaurant has an interesting small plates menu. Go for the bacon wrapped dates, the lamb meatballs, and the goofy wine machine. If it gets busy, be prepared to wait an hour per dish. The kitchen is not managed well. When you leave, be prepared to wash your clothes. You smell like the kitchen. Still, a good option... More
