very disappointing. we had a steak that was tasteless and overcooked- we ordered it medium rare it came medium well. We also had a bass which was tasty but poorly presented. Our group of 8 made dinner reservations in advance of our ski trip and we are glad we did! The entire staff was so friendly and gracious! The food was very good as well! Our group had the Brisket pizza (I can't remember the exact name) fish & chips, grilled trout, half chicken and a chicken & mushroom dish. It... More

On a recent visit to Beaver Creek, we went to Black Diamond Bistro for dinner where we had lobster bisque, lamb osso buco and mushroom ravioli. The bisque was fabulous and filled with lobster meat. My husband loved the lamb. He raved about the flavor and how tender it was. The mushroom ravioli was wonderful but very rich. The very... More

Wonderful restaurant inside a hotel in Beaver Creek, Avon, CO. Service excellent, parking in the hotel, not crowd at all. Food delicious, entrees and dessert also.

Recommended by one of our kids ski instructors as she works there (Heidi) Thanks for the tip. Great dinner with our three teenagers. Pizza was a hit as well as the shrimp appetizer. We also enjoyed the fish and chips. Nice wine selection as well. Price was reasonable and it was not crowed on a weeknight. We will visit again.

We went as a family while on holiday skiing at Beaver Creek. We had a lovely evening. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We tried the beet salad (as a main with blackened salmon as an addition) striped bass and lambs tail osso bucco, all of which were fabulous. Service was great. It wasn't crowded and had the feel kind... More

We had a lovely meal at the Black Diamond on a quiet weeknight. The setting was understated but elegant, with references to natural surroundings. And the adjacent lobby of The Charters was very pretty with cozy furniture and a fire in the fireplace. Every item of food was delicious, well composed and well prepared. We fully enjoyed the beet salad... More

Food was good, but the service leaves much to be desired. Food was very slow to arrive. I ordered a beer and had to find a waiter to remind him of that. Once I did, he didn't remember what I've ordered. While the waiter was very polite, he exhibited very little concern for his customer’s needs.

We tried the Black Diamond Bistro while on our trip to Beaver Creek. We wanted someplace to watch the National Championship game and they advertised as having TV's for the game. The restaurant and bar area are smaller than I had expected and appeared more like a "hotel restaurant" than a stand alone restaurant. That being said, the service was... More

A seven day ski trip saw us eat at the Bistro four times. Really good. The grouper and risotto equalled the best Sea Bass! The same for other items: creative, sophisticated, and most important, moist and tastee!! Surprising considering the very high costs usually encountered in Beaver Creek. Good atmosphere, especially at the bar. Good service as well. Bruce W,... More
