For the appetizers, I was able to try the short rib potstickers, foie gras, & the buffalo carpaccio...the potstickers were by far my favorite! For the entrees, the elk tenderloin was my favorite. The rack of lamb was great b/c it wasn't fatty. The texture of the Veal piccata reminded me of a properly cooked pork tenderloin. The Muscovy duck... More

We always take our Colorado guests to Zach's for a special experience. We were so disappointed this time..... We were on an early sleigh (6pm) w/dinner at 6:30. They used to give little bits of bachelors gulch history and trivia. This time nothing was said - not even thank you!!! We were seated quickly and waited and waited for someone... More

The sleigh ride was quite an experience. We were still on ski suits so we kept sliding down from our seats but the view going up kept me away from noticing it. Beautiful cabin-very welcoming. Servers are great and very attentive. The caramelized jumbo sea scallop was perfect! I wondered how they kept the scallops fresh that can be compared... More

This is one of two restaurants on the mountain which have a certain mystique. To get there you travel by what was called a sleigh, picture horse drawn sleigh and blankets; it turned out to be a snow cat drawn sled - but there were blankets. The view over the mountains with the moon was wonderful; the food was alright;... More

Took the awesome sled ride up during the winter; enjoyed the views immensely - food was good; but not as great as it should have been for the money. And the wine list was crazy expensive - we are talking 100 dollars for one of the least expensive bottles on the list- I drink wine often and I know there... More

I liked Zach's - the service was just OK for us, really liked the sleigh ride - our guide was really informative about the stars - only thing is that you feel like you are kind of stuck up there hoping there will be a sleigh to take you back down. The smores pie was the highlight - the steak... More

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything we had was wonderful, from the starters, the entrees, and the dessert. (Must try the s'mores pie!!) The sleigh ride up the mountain was nice, and the restaurant itself is very nice.

We took the early (5:15 PM) sleigh ride to Zach's Cabin located off a ski run in Beaver Creek Colorado. Terrific views of the Ritz-Carlton and the mountains of the valley. The sleigh ride only cost $10 and the menu was a la carte. The halibut with lobster sauce was awesome and we got very attentive service from the staff.... More

I've eaten here twice recently, and had an excellent experience both times. The food is amazing. Great selection and good portion sizes. The real treat is the sleigh ride up from the Ritz. The first night I went up, we went around 8pm, and it was a clear night with a full moon. It was around Christmas, so the views... More

You had to take a sleigh ride to get to this place which was open air but they give you wool blankets. The food was very good, pricey but good. We had 3 families and we asked if we could have 3 checks and that didn't seem to go over well with our waiter. He said, "well, it will take... More
