On a sunny day it is a great experience

Mamie's is different in that you grill your own burger or chicken, so if it doesn't taste good it's your own fault. Arrive just before noon or after 1:30 to beat the crowds. It will take about 75 minutes from entry to exit, you place your order, wait for it to show, then grill it, then eat. If you... read more

I think Mamie's is an interesting / fun spot to grab a burger for a quick lunch. You pay for the raw meat, buns, condiments, etc. and then you grill up the food yourself. They have an attendant watching over the grills and helping out. I ate here twice with some friends during my Spring snowboarding trip. With sunny spring... More

Maybe insufficient research on my part but I did not realise that you cooked your own hot food. My burger fell apart and my friend had a thick piece of chicken that it was tricky to get cooked all through. (I also burnt my bun!) You may well say that all this was due to lack of BBQ skills but... More

Cook your own fresh meat and onions on the Grill ( BBQ) - fun bar with stunning views of the back country. At the top of Bachelor Gulch Express so anyone can go - even if not a skier. Live music on weekends - magic afternoon

On a clear day, this is where you want to have lunch. Hanging out on the deck sitting at picnic tables enjoying a drink, grilling your own hamburger (they give it you raw with the fixings), toast the buns, drink a beer while you're bbq'ing. Burger will cost you about $14. They are building more bathrooms but there's a couple... More

We ate lunch here twice during our 5 day ski trip. Loved the grill it yourself grilled cheese! Incredible views from a sunny spot outside, and not crowded. Also enjoyed the cheeseburger and chicken parm sandwich.

The bloody Mary's are to die for! Try the meatball subs it is delicious and it is one of the items that you do not have to cook yourself! However grilling your own hamburger at 10,000 feet with a scenic view like this one cannot be touched! The staff is phenomenal as well as the views! This is a must... More

This was our first trip to Beaver Creek so we tried various restaurants based on reviews. First, the place has an awesome view. The lift ride up to the place was very scenic and worth the money. Once you get off the lift, you have to hike about a mile to the restaurant or take a shuttle. I had a... More

I would skip this place, not worth it. Not very good food and poor service. Very rude employees and pricey for what it was. Also you have to cook your own hamburgers, there's so many other great places in Beaver Creek that its just not worth it.

Loved the view and the concept of grill your own. Considering most people are generally very hungry by the time they reach Mamie's the quick service and ease of ordering is much appreciated. Good pitstop for refuelling and grabbing snacks..
