Master Chef Wolfgang Puck teamed up with the award-winning Ritz-Carlton to open a Colorado outpost of his legendary Spago at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Spago continues to set the standard for cuisine, service and style. Chef Jared Montarbo creates imaginative, California cuisine with regional, European and Asian influences in a sophisticated, warm environment crafted by esteemed New York-based hospitality designer Tony Chi. The menu features Spago's classics from over the years and Wolfgang's childhood favorites - Organic Salmon Steamed "Hong Kong" Style and Veal "Wiener Schnitzel"- as well as new signature dishes locally inspired by the surrounding environment with as many ingredients from the area as possible. The 4,400 square foot restaurant features a hip and sophisticated 34-seat bar and lounge which is the ideal place to see and be seen. Spago closes for the 2015 Winter Season on March 31st, 2015 and reopens for the 2015 Summer Season on July 1st, 2015. The food at this restaurant was 5 star. The waitress and sommelier were rude. We felt dismissed and rushed through our very expensive dinner. Outstanding fare and warm and welcoming staff - what more could you ask for? The views from the restaurant are right up the slopes as well!

Spago did not meet our expectations for a delicious slopeside lunch. The food was decent- not great-and the service was sloppy and slow. They seemed to be understaffed for a busy spring break week and really lacked professionalism.

The best dinner option at Ritz-Carlton Bachelors Gulch. I find it difficult to rate restaurants based upon a main course, appetizer, wine and dessert alone. Had the veal. It was okay. Don't remember what else I had. Dined with 3 others. We all agreed it was good. Convenience for those staying at the Ritz was probably the biggest factor.

I would eat here every day. The food is spectacular and the service is phenomenal. Chef Jared Montarbo makes the dining experience amazing with his culinary genius. Whilst staying at the Ritz- Carlton Bachelor Gulch previously, I had enjoyed a glass of wine and bar menu and was eager to try the restaurant for dinner. Spago has a great deco- environment, entreés were small but with great flavor. Main dishes were in good portions and the best for the last, desserts were exquisite. I totally recommend the mille feuille with sea salt caramel and pear sorbet. Everything I tried had excellent flavor.

We made the mistake of skiing over to Bachelor Gulch for lunch. The only restaurants on the mountain are in the Ritz Carlton: an entire mountain eating in 2 restaurants and an outside grill.
