Good Mexican food

Our party of four had an enjoyable meal. While not the best Mexican food we have ever had, the food was well prepared, served hot and tasty. The service was fine and the food was served promptly. Two of us had enchilada plates, one had chiles relleno and the fourth had a shrimp dish that was... read more

We asked a store clerk for a recommendation for a Mexican restaurant for lunch and he directed us to El Korita. We loved the food and the atmosphere and the service was friendly and efficient. There's a good variety of menu items at reasonable prices. We hope to return and bring our friends before we leave the Snowmass area. We... More

The seafood molcajete is quite phenomenal. The meat one is pretty good. I tried some of my wife's and kid's food, but those were decent but nothing to write home about. Haven't tried much else.

If you're wanting the Mexican feel, this place has it, with the colorful furniture and hanging paper flags. Oh, and the food is outstanding as well!! We went there with our family and everyone ordered something different and all were extremely pleased. I had the chicken taco salad and it tasted like a fajita in a crispy shell.

The food was terrific, and saved the day. We had the "7 Seas" soup, which was fantastic. Actually came with three oysters on the half shell, and they were fresh, a nice size, and delicious. Would never have thought Louisiana oysters would be available in the Aspen valley. The chicken & beef fajitas were also very good. One of our... More

Margaritas here are marvelous! Order a pitcher! Food is fantastic and very large portions, if you are not hungry, splitting an entree may work. Atmosphere is colorful and authentic. We eat here at least three times a year, and the service is always attentive. Children are welcome and large groups can be accommodated.

Wow, my husband and two friends and I went here for dinner the other night. The restaurant was colorful and busy. We all had margaritas that were to die food and all of the food portions were more than enough. If you are not very hungry, share a portion with someone. We had chips and salsa brought out for free,... More

My boyfriend and I have gone to this restaurant for years and love it every time. The atmosphere is wonderful, colorful, clean and friendly. The food is reasonably priced, delicious and generously proportioned! Great service and the best Mexican food in Aspen Valley.

My friends and I have traveled down from Aspen for years just to visit El Korita for a real Mexican treat and celebration! This place is authentic and beautifully decorated with bright colors. The food is delicious and priced well. We love the big, cozy booths and great service!

We used to eat here 1 or 2 times a month. It was busy and had good service and food. We were away most of the summer and returned tonight. It has changed. Very poor service and an uncaring staff. We are not returning.
