Good Aspen-Area Mexican at a Reasonable Price

Suggested by friends who live in the area, El Korita is an authentic Mexican restaurant, family-owned and friendly. The food was fresh and good; the service friendly and the margarita's ample. Located between Glenwood Springs and Aspen, it is a good, affordable choice.

Was so looking forward to eating here. Sadly fajitas was disssapointing. Not sizzling and very salty. Expected more. Service was also slower then it should have been. Kids did not love the burritos either Maybe they just had a bad night.....

Best Mexican restaurant in the Roaring Fork Valley. Great service, always busy, never had even an average meal.

Honestly, there is a reason why there is always a line up/wait list at the door on Friday and Saturday evenings.. mostly locals who enjoy good food at a reasonable price. If you are in a hurry, better get there early because this place fills up fast. Owners and staff are friendly, food is yummy (portions are maybe TOO big)... More

My taste must be tackie because this restaurant seemed clean and appealing. Dinned here on the recommendation of two friends who claimed El Korita is the best mid-valley seafood spot. After trying it Diane and I agree. Service was good, the whole place including the restrooms were clean and the prices reasonable. I can't believe that a few other reviewers... More

Not a favorite place of mine. Super noisy and tacky restaurant with run-of-the-mill gringo Mexi food. Lots of salt and lots of cheese on dishes. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Reasonable prices in an area where everything's over-prized.

From start to finish, this place was amazing!! A hidden gem in the Willits area, El Korita is authentic from the first step in the doors. We felt that we made the right decision to have dinner there when they brought out the chips & salsa (homemade). And, the drinks...priced just right, sized just right and so good to the... More

There are much better Mexican restaurants in the valley. The food here, including the chips, salsa and guac, is so salty that hours later I'm still drinking huge glasses of water to recover - and I'm a savory, spicy, salt lover! The house Margaritas had an 'off' flavor. We were told it was because they were the cheapest so we... More

Amazing food every time!! Go out on a limb and order the Seafood Mocahete it is a big boiling dish of amazingly tasty soup. Their Margaritas pack a punch so be careful if you are driving, and be sure to plan to wait, this place is so tasty that there is almost always a wait, but it is ALWAYS worth... More

Really great food. Super authentic. Really nice people. Love being outside in Colorado so the patio was appreciated. My dog liked it too.
