Ladies night

Great service! Food was tasty and location divine. Love the albondigas and the datiles! The wine list is exclusive but solid, and the aviation cocktail was oh so tasty. We sat on the patio, in the grass, and had a wonderful night.

I had not been here in a long time as the owner and help have in the past occasionally been a bit surly. And it's not cheap. I had no idea that Monday night you save 50%, eating in the lovely bar area. The atmosphere is really wonderful, and I had 3 tapas AND a glass of wine for $23,... More

We dined here two days after the 4th of July. They were out of several items on the menu stating they were very busy over the 4th... this was Monday........... I ordered a salad and the toast that accompanied it was burnt, I asked for another piece. The wait staff seemed put out. I rarely send anything back but burnt... More

We had a dinner on our anniversary. We sat outside and the atmosphere was lovely. The service was very slow and the staff unattentive. It was Monday night. We waited 40 min. for the appetizers to arrive. Nobody asked us about a refill on our drinks. It took forever for our entrees. The food was average, nothing WOW. The bloodymary was... More

Excellent tapas and paella. Paella was a great portion, my husband I shared after a couple tapas and were very satisfied. Always hear the specials because they always have interesting additions to the menu. For instance the night we ate there they had a pork dish that the owner had raised and slaughtered himself. Our server Ian was knowledgable and... More

We met another group of people on a lovely afternoon, so decided to sit out on the lovely old porch. Before we ordered, the band on the lawn started playing. It was so loud that we could not hear each other speak. The server, who did finally warm up, was not super friendly nor accommodating when we mentioned the issue.... More

My friend, Lisa and I had spent a happy morning wandering around shops and art galleries in Carbondale and Basalt, Colorado while our respective husbands were fighting the fish on the Frying Pan River under the guidance of Glenn Smith from Taylor Creek Fly Shop, Basalt, Colorado. After our endeavours to empty the shops, we stopped into Tempranillo for some... More

We were looking for something unique....not hamburgers. Most of the places you find on the strip in Basalt have the basic "hamburgers and sandwiches" option. It is a fine dining experience, so if you are looking for fast food.....quick in and out....it isn't for you. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. I ate a salad ( Isrealli couscous... More

Small plates are out of this world, quality and presentation are beyond compare. the service is spot on, not to pushy but always there for any needs an prompt attention. Presented for you will be a very large menu and expansive wine list, relax and experience something new you won't be disappointed.
