This was our second visit to Tempranillo. The menu is unique with lots of traditional spanish offerings. Likewise the large wine list is mostly from Spain and is broad and well chosen. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is special. The setting is inviting and relaxing whether you sit outside on the porch or inside by a fireplace. Service... More

I loved this restaurant, beautiful no matter what season amazing food and very Spanish. My family and I have known the owners from the night before the place opened, Javier is very Spanish and Laura is the picture of hospitality. On our trip to Spain we realized how amazing their food is! Your lucky that you can fly into aspen,... More

The menu is unique, but not over the top. This is Spanish cuisine, not Mexican. So, don't look for a chimichanga on the menu. It's much more sophisticated than that. I had Paella Valenciana, a seafood paella, which was excellent. The rice was cooked perfectly - still light and fluffy. The seafood was abundant, and nicely spiced. A great dish.... More

Arrogant water, poor seating, cleared our own table, overpriced. Seems to cater to the overflow crowd from Aspen. Maybe we just got the wrong person to seat us by the garbage and a waiter who was more interested in tips from the rich. Has a wonderful outdoor patio, but they refused to seat us there even though there were tons... More

I can say that food was between very good and excellent but that service was between awful and disappointing. No one greeted us when we walked in, the waiter we approached pointed to a table without saying a word, 2 waitresses were equally indifferent and when one of them said that we would have to order our food quickly because... This is one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. I always try to eat here whenever I'm in town. Consistently great food. In the summer it's fun to sit outside. Great atmosphere. Good bar area.

This was supposed to be a restaurant of Spain and Italy. We ordered a cheese plate from Spain and no one in the restaurant could tell us what kind or cheeses were on the plate. The food was very mediocre, and the service wasn't must better.

I had dinner here about 2 months ago with one other person. Everything about this experience was terrible. When we came in, we were greeted by the owner, who is very friendly, really the only positive part of the evening. We sat outside, and then stuff got bad. Our waitress was incredibly rude. Had the sort of attitude like we... More

Eating on the lovely front porch of this special place is one of the outstanding experiences of the summer. On a beautiful night, with twinkling lights the atmosphere couldn't be better. It is quiet enough to have conversation, and a relaxing place to dine. The food was prepared to perfection and we enjoyed all that was ordered. The service was... More

Eating outside on the front porch at Tempranillo is one of the delights of the summer. It is rarely crowded during the day - and I can only assume that people who are not familiar with the restaurant (and dressed in "outdoor garb") are put-off by its nice appearance. Don't be! You are missing a lovely, reasonably-priced lunch spot with... More
