Liked this place a lot

A great place for a tasty Mexican meal after a day of hiking in Joshua Tree. In fact, we liked it enough to have dinner there two of our three nights staying in 29 Palms (and worth the long drive back to our motel each night). Guacamole was excellent (but see below), and we also enjoyed the... read more

Sample the delicious Sunday brunch of traditional rustic dishes where the locals meet up and no one is a stranger! Enjoy the chilled seasonal juices and jamaica (hibiscus) tea for a refreshing experience and don't pass up the homemade guacamole, freshly prepared pico de gallo or roasted green and red salsas.

Good food, good prices, good staff, good drinks (watch out for the Cadillac margarita). West end of town.

Had lunch with a friend after spending time in Joshua Tree National Park. The chip and salsa very average at best and the salsa was not the best. I had the Taco bowl salad that had lots of fresh chicken, cheese, a very good guacamole, and sour cream. My friend had a combination of a chicken tamale and stuffed chili... More

We were visiting the area and our friends suggested we meet for dinner here. BIG MISTAKE, The chips they brought out were OK but the red sauce they passed off as salsa was terrible. Don't know what it was. My nachos were soggy, and my friends chicken taco tasted like fish. The service was slow and the people's food at... More

We lucked out and came on Taco Monday: $1.50 each. Fresh food with many choices, good service, very tasty salsa, many beer options and good lime margaritas.

They make a terrific guacomole! Great service. We really enjoyed this place. The salsa uses real tomatoes and is also clearly homemade.

Las Palmas feels like a small family owned restaurant, just the sort of place I like. The enchiladas are great. The service was a little slow but they had two servers to cover a packed house. Evidently a very popular place. I don't get to Yucca Valley very often, but when I return this is where I will eat.
