It is a diner. Food is ok. The staff was friendly. Across the street from the Best Western Miners Inn.

restaurant located across street from Best Western Hotel. Restaurant didn't require reservations, service was very friendly and the burger and home made fries was excellent. Local beer excellent as well. Would recommend.

Stopped in for a quick lunch break on our way from California to Washington State. We were greeted and seated quickly. There were two women working the front and they took turns greeting and taking/bringing orders. This worked out well because there were many tables of customers and all were taken care of efficiently. I opted for breakfast and my... More

Mimmie is the main reason we eat here besides the great food. She is an amazing server. So attentive, caring, and thoughtful. I usually get their hash. It is the bomb. My husband gets ham and eggs which he can only eat 1/2 the ham because it's so much. The atmosphere is nice too. The owner Wendy you will see... More

Great location right across the street from a Best Western. Friendly people that made every attempt to accomodate your needs. Shared the captains platter, they were out of some of the seafood but doubled up on others, shared a good size salad that came with the order. Quantity and quality was great considering so far from the ocean. Just hit... More

Couldn't find a better place for breakfast or lunch if you tried. The quality and quantity of the food, the service, and the price combine to put it at the top in our book. The "cup" of split pea soup - which was the best I've tasted of one of my favorite soups - nice and thick and with lots... More

We stopped over in Yreka on our way to Salem, Or. We made a big mistake by eating at The Purple Plum Restaurant. It was Saturday evening, with only us & 3-4 other customers. My wife ordered the ravioli. We also each ordered a glass of wine. Our waitress did not know what Chardonnay or Merlot was, and did not... More

We'd had a large/late breakfast, so weren't ready for lunch at the regular time. But about 2:30, after prowling the downtown Yreka shops, and the classic show cars and motorcycles (a surprise we weren't expecting), we stopped at the Purple Plum for a snack. I had a bowl of cheese and broccoli soup, and my wife had the minestrone. There... More

We stopped in Yreka on the way to San Fran for a night. Purple Plum was right there, and was open even though it was a little later in the night. I ordered a chicken caesar sandwich and it didn't taste like there was any dressing on it. Staff was very friendly, but food was okay.
