This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the Napa area. The food is fresh and unique. They off a sampler dish for +$50 on the menu which allows you to try a few of their signature dishes, this is the way to go. Awsome wine list, as you would expect in wine country. Survive is superb! The bar... More

If you want leftovers or have the ability to take leftovers home, this is the place to go. Family style with plenty of food to share! We were unable to finish our traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but it was certainly delicious!

We dined a lot of fabulous places in our week in Napa, but I believe this was one of my favorites. The whole concept of everyone eating the same thing was new to me, and I really liked it. Good value for Yountville!

We went to Ad Hoc at the suggestion of friends from the Bay Area who also joined us for dinner. Our entree (served on a large platter and sliced for all of us to share) was the ribeye steak. It was a relief because my husband does not eat lamb and veal and while I like chicken I do not... More

A Thomas Keller restaurant, and while the pricing is WAY more than I'm used to paying, it was fabulous food, and a worthwhile experience. The menu appealled to us the night we were there, and it was outstanding! The wine pairings were wonderful. They went so well with the dishes. Service was terrific. The restaurant was casual and festive, with... More

It's not that chicken is awful, it's the value for your money. IMO. KFC chicken is better and tastier than Ad Hoc fried chicken, and it's 1/6th the price. I don't understand what's all the hype is about? They also have a takeout window now, that is what we used. For three pieces of chicken, small containers for coleslaw and... More

I didn't realize it was one menu family style each day. I almost wanted to leave due to not being able to chose what I wanted. However, it turned out tone really delicious. I've just never been to a restaurant like this.

We absolutely loved the family dining service. Our server was great and the meal was fantastic. Fun, creative and one of the more enjoyable experiences you could have. Very unpretentious, with an upbeat and modern atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone with a small group. This is a fun stop and a great meal you will remember.

Great meal. We were there on Sunday night. Lentil soup, grilled pork loin. Generous servings. Go on Sunday's because they always have ice cream sundaes for dessert. Atmosphere was ok - a little loud. Service was attentive.

Thomas Keller does everything to perfection. This is a casual eatery, fixed menu that changes daily. This is my second time here. They are famous for their friend chicken which was amazing, crunchy and tasty on outside and super moist and cooked perfectly on the inside. Excellent service
