So delicious, and so much fun!

Yes, it is not your everyday type of dining experience, but I must first say that the wine list is loaded with off the beaten path gems, and fairly priced. Easy enough to get a reservation here, and we had heard the fried chicken was delicious. The menu is fixed, but changes each day. We started off with a nice salad with deviled eggs, and then a delicious roasted tri-tip (we got the optional fried chicken - we heard Monday is the day for fried chicken) for the main. Then... Neat idea with the pre planned menu. Generous portions of a good variety of foods and favors. Each is paired with a small 3oz pour of wine. I felt like they were trying too hard on the wine offerings the evening we were there. A couple of the wines were a bit "out there". I would have rather seen realistic... More

If this restaurant is booked or you want to try just one of the dinner options, you can walk up to the bar and grab a seat. This is a great way to sample the inventive cuisine without committing to a whole meal.

Each course of the set menu has been outstanding each of the many times we've eaten there. It's a warm and cozy atmosphere but this is sure is better than my mama's home cooking.

We had dinner at Ad Hoc on our first night in Napa. Overall the environment is nice and the staff attentive. We unfortunately had a late reservation at 9.30pm which in hindsight was a mistake as we could feel that we were the last in the restaurant and everyone wanted to go home. Food was ok but in honesty not... More

My wife and I had dinner here tonight as part of a package through The Cottages of Napa. We had eaten at The French Laundry twenty years ago and Ad Hoc is owned by the same chef. The place was loud and happy on a rainy Friday night. The food and service were excellent. The have one menu each night.... More

We ended up at Ad Hoc because French Laundry was closed and we wanted to check out a Keller restaurant. While very different from French Laundry, Ad Hoc was a solid meal. The menu wasn't huge, but they were able to make accommodations for some dietary restrictions. Most importantly, the food ( we understand the menu changes on a daily... More

I have yet to dine on anything that Team-Keller has ever prepared that I have not liked but the fried chicken and bibb lettuce salad simply rocks my world! Service was perfect.

I like the fixed menu idea, if you have a broad scope of tastes, you won't be disappointed. The meal was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the staff was a bit laid back. My only issue was the wine pairing. I felt the wine didn't meet the quality of the food. Next trip, I will definitely pick wine instead... More
