Our favorite restaurant in Yountville; service is excellent, food is wonderful, and of course they have a beautiful wine list.

This was a highly recommended restaurant when we were out in Sonoma/Napa Valley a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to mislead anyone, the food was great but it was expensive and our service really left something to be desired. If you have just one or two nights to hit a great restaurant in this area, I'd pass on... More

I felt our meal was overpriced for what we had (steaks). The restaurant was "California Style" (open and noisy). I was not impressed.

Tourists, of which I am one, are referred here from various hotel concierges and therefore would expect to have a good experience. First, the restaurant is the most sterile environment I have ever been in. Next, we ordered appetizers that arrived at our table in less than 5 minutes, and both my wife and I ordered Halibut which was overcooked... More

Good meal but did not measure up to all the hype. All the dishes were average. Server did not even introduce himself. The atmosphere is sterile. Not a bad meal but was not one of our better dining experiences in Napa.

We had heard of Redd and decided to try for lunch. The service was very good and we were seated outside as requested. The atmosphere is very nice. I thought the selections were somewhat limited , but were good. I had some friends that are there at night and they said the food and service was wonderful.

I wish I had spent more time in my three day trip in Napa/Sonoma just so I could have dined here again. The cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts-- all of it was incredible. Our server was also so sweet and knowledgable which completely solidified the whole experience as a whole. Cannot wait to return!

This was our last restaurant during a long weekend trip to Napa. Also the best for a high end culinary experience! We decided to order a few appetizers as dinner. The first was caramelized scallops with tidbits of cauliflower, nuts and raisins. Perfectly cooked day boat scallops. The mix really worked. Then glazed pork belly was next. Creamy smooth tantalizingly... More

The dishes at Redd are not super innovative in terms of combining unexpected ingredients and flavors together, so I wasn't surprised to hear that they lost their Michelin star recently. Having said that, the meals I've had here have all been wonderful. For lunch, the caramelized diver scallops with pureed cauliflower are my favorite. I've also had the tasting menu... More

Visited Redd this past week and we had the tasting menu with wine pairing. For our table of four they brought two selections for each course, so we all got to taste 10 different dishes and wines. Lovely scallops, delicious sauces, lamb, pork belly, tuna tartare, and roasted strawberry ice cream were some of our favorites. We should have asked... More
