I can't say enough good things about this wonderful experience. The tasting menu was amazing...every dish was complex and made to please. The wines were young but well matched to the course they were paired with. The pork belly is something that you can't even describe...who knew there was a food better than bacon. The service was excellent and the... more

We just had lunch here, the food was great. We started off with a mixed green salad, which we split. Then my wife had the lettuce cups, which is a stir fry chicken dish, and very tasty. I ordered the scallops, only two but they were perfect. more

On a warm, sunny day, the patio is the place to be. Cocktails are divine, wine list good, and the small plates made the two of us very happy campers. To eat: - Yellofin and Hamachi tartar. Pretty darn good. A solid tartar. - Carmelized diver scallops, with a cauliflower puree that had raisins, balsamic and almonds to accent the... more

The food here is very good. We're not snobby eaters so we don't tend to like places like this, but this place was definitely good--even for me, a vegetarian who usually doesn't have many good options at places like this. (Not that there were a lot of vegetarian options--just that the ones there were really good). more

We stopped by Redd between lunch and dinner. They did not have the regular menus available, but offered a bar menu. This is not any bar menu, it seems to be a truncated lunch menu. We sat in the bar as they were setting up for dinner. I ordered the calamari and my husband ordered the fish tacos. The food... more

We were in Napa with my family, which was 7 adults and one child (12 months). We heard good things about Redd from our tasting host at Honig so we drove over. Little did we know that when we walked in with my son, the hostesses and most patrons turned up their nose at the fact that we had a... more

We ate at REDD and found the experience to be good, but not great. We chose to sit outside because the inside of the restaurant seemed a little stiff, white walls, not a very cozy experience that we were looking for. Our waiter seemed to lack experience, and wasn't familiar with a few things on the menu (I had to... more

Make sure you make reservations for Dinner otherwise you may not get in. The Ambiance was great with the modern style architecture within the restaurant. Although inside it looks like a gutted out house, it is quite charming. The food overall was good. I enjoyed the prime rib selection. Keep in mind this is Napa Valley and you won't receive... more

Redd was a classy restaurant with terrific food and service. The lobster risotto and tuna tartare were scrumptious appetizers. The grouper special was very tasty, and my husband raved about the steak and short ribs menu item. more

My wife and I were at Redd on a Monday, our second time, with a year in between. Unlike Bouchon or Bottega, where we ate on other nights, Redd was relativity empty, perhaps a sign. To be fair, the food experience at Redd was incredible, as it had been a year before, but the service was indifferent just as it... more
