Our first visit was so wonderful I remember the fabulous flavor of the rabbit I was served. We were very young and it was our first visit to Napa valley. The winery and restaurant had recently opened, so after our winery tour we stayed for lunch. This time we had lunch in the same outdoor setting as the first time.... More

My wife and I dined here 29 years ago and looked forward to eating here again. We were not disappointed. Be sure to ave a reservation. This is great for a late lunch after visiting a couple of wineries in Napa or St Helena. Very quiet and romantic with of course excellent wines. Service was excellent. No problem with gluten... More

We selected the six course tasting menu with accompanying wine selection. Including the amuse bouche and sweet tray there were actually eight courses plus the palate cleansing ice and eight wine selections. Every item was superb, with flavours popping at every bite. Our chief wait person Suzanne gave excellent service and information.

We went for dinner last weekend for a vacation weekend in Yountville and had easily booked for a reservation online. The decor is excellent and the staff superb. Our waitress gave us very good advice on the food and she had a great sense of humor and wonderful knowledge about the menu. Really enjoyed her service. And the food was... More

We recently travelled around S California, ate at many good restaurants, many with the old Michelin stars, and this stood out. Great service, ambiance , wonderful menu cooked to perfection with the very best produce. Not a cheap meal, but great value. I would go back repeatedly until I had no money left! Good portions, great wines and a great... More

While the atmosphere was nice, the food was not very good and the service was blah. Maybe it was the time of the year, but with all the "build up" for this place, it was, at best, disappointing. At least the surrounding area is nice and the wines very, very good. Drink, but let the dining pass to somewhere else.

Elegant dining in a beautiful park setting, a place where you can actually have a conversation without yelling. Various tasting menus with reasonably sized portions. Food preparation was excellent. The Brozino (Brazino) was the best I've ever had, and I order it a lot. Desserts were not up to the quality of the other courses. The wine list is adequate,... More

We had our tasting and then went to Etoile for a delicious lunch. We started with oysters and lobster bisque. Very good. We both had the halibut which was amazing! The service was excellent.

We went for dinner and had the four course menu which had a choice of 4 dishes for each course with wine pairing, both the food and wines were very good with reasonable sized portions for a fine dining restaurant. Only minor gripes were the rather tough bread baguette and the wine portions could have been a bit larger! Good... More
