The ribs

I didn't want to eat here for lunch initially and wound up eating here for dinner... sorry I didn't eat that lunch earlier in the week. Awesome ribs and I ate more than I thought possible.

We ate nachos as an appetizer and the pulled port sandwich and salmon burger as entrees. The nachos were amazing -- unique flavors with plenty to share. The peppers were especially good. The pulled pork was excellent; made great on a terrific bun. The barbecue sauce was amazing -- spicy but really flavorful. My wife said her salmon burger was... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting two vineyards. We were hungry and already a little imbibed. The waitress was very good. Made jokes and we felt very at ease. They just had a fire in the restaurant so not all drinks/cocktails were available. My husband had a burger. BEST. BURGER. EVER. So good! I had the steak nachos and... More

A few Saturdays ago, my partner and some friends of ours were in Yountville... in dire need of some tasty breakfast. Since it was on the chilly side, and our bellies were on the rumbling side, we decided to leave the Bouchon line and head across the street to the cute Pacific Blues Cafe. Sadly, we learned by the place... More

Fun place to kick back and enjoy a good hearty breakfast. The eggs are fluffy and the fruit and vegetables taste freshly picked. The mimosas fly so if you are on a budget be careful and drink slowly as they added a pretty hefty chunk to the bill. Breakfast arrived in a slow manner so the drinks flowed. $60 for two... More

Oh my! Our party on Memorial Day had 7 people. They seated us as a walk up very quickly. The menu had a lot of variety. I chose the nachos with the jalapeño jam on the side. Best nachos I've eaten in many years. The portion was huge (about twice size of Famous Dave's nachos. Had to take over half... More

Perhaps the service was slow due to our coming a Saturday during the Memorial Day Weekend. The explanation as to why it took almost 1 hour for our food to be served was "there was a party of 10 ahead of you and the kitchen was really jammed up." Really? We had decided to stop here to get a "quick... More

Good variety on the lunch and dinner menu and NO Corkage fee ! Excellent fries, very good fish tacos, salmon burger, pasta, grilled chicken sandwich and ribs. Try the Brownie Sundae dessert if you have any room left and no corkage for that special bottle of wine. Outdoor seating on the lovely patio deck and family friendly. Great casual place... More

Was wandering alone through the town and felt a desire for eggs. Everyone was lined up at the bakery across the street but one couple was sitting at a table behind this restaurant so I went in. The eggs were made to order with home fries and toast and coffee-all under $10-fantastic!! A few flies but I was sitting outside.

We were debating all the different restaurants in the town and the list is impressive- French Laundry, Bouchon, Ad Hoq, Bottega etc. We just wanted something less formal for lunch. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was very good. I would recommend this place as a go to stop when visiting Yountville for a great informal meal.
