This place is an absolute gem. Prices were very reasonable, and the food! Wow. It was so delicious, we can't wait until our next trip to come back. We tried the cheeseburger, crab cakes, and delicious tomato soup. The cheeseburger was cooked pefectly, on the most fabulous bread. Onion rings were delicious, served with a homemade ketchup - which was... more

Easy access restaurant in the NV, right off the freeway. Food is pretty good, but I prefer Cindy Pawlcyn's other establishments like Go Fish and Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen. more

We arrived in Napa Valley from the East Coast on New Years Day, when many places are closed. Fortunately, Mustards Grill was open, and fortunately for us, business overall there is slow enough that we could walk in at 12:30 pm and be seated. The meal was excellent. We shared the sweet corn tamale appetizer--one of the best I've had,... more

Monday of Thanksgiving week for dinner. We had reservations and were seated immediately at a small table for two. The restaurant was packed and a little on the loud side, but still very fun. There were couples seeming to have romantic dinners as well as larger, more spirited groups. Our dinners were very good. Husband thought ahi tuna appetizer was... more

Excellent food, service and good ambience. The vegetables are very fresh and the servings are generous. Great wine selection. more

We ate there on Saturday night and while the food is okay and the service was excellent, I have no idea why it's so popular. I have a feeling it is a fave among the tourist set but it does not live up to par if you live in San Francisco or New York and have amazing restaurants at your... more

We did not have reservations and arrived on Friday evening (late afternoon say 6pm-ish) and were seated immediately. In fact, the a/c was blasting on me and the hostess pleasantly offered to turn the a/c off or move us. Our waiter was fantastic- she was fun and friendly and gave her honest opinions of the food. The warm sourdough with... more

After making a reservation a month prior, we dined at Mustards Grill on August 30, and had a most disappointing meal. First I viewed the menu on line and saw mostly seafood which prompted the reservation. Much to our surprise there was little seafood (an apparent "glitch" on their website posted the Go Fish menu). After hearing the raves, we... more

Even though the inn we were staying at was right next to French Laundry, we opted to dine at Mustards Grill instead. My husband just refuses to eat any type of seafood or mushroom and when I read him a sample menu of the very limited Frou Frou offerings at French Laundry, he went a little green in the gills.... more

We received wonderful, thoughtful service. The food is very good and the service made it taste even better. Mustards may not have the cachet of Bouchon, but our meal at Mustards was 100 times more enjoyable. more
