We made our dinner reservation in advance via the Trip Advisor site. They called in the morning the day of the reservation to confirm. The restaurant is bustling with sounds of happy people eating. A great place and a very good value. Bistro Jeanty is everything that you should expect from a French bistro, except, of course that it is not in France. The menu is classic bistro fair, cooked to perfection. The service was warm and correct and the place charming and reasonably quiet. more

Our innkeeper recommended Bistro Jeanty, and we were thrilled with the choice. Excellent roasted marrow bones for appetizer, and the coq au vin was rich and tasty. My husband enjoyed his onion soup gratinee and cassoulet. A real treat, unexpected. more

After many years of driving past here and never going in, we ate here for lunch on a Sunday. The roasted bone marrow was succulently delicious, the Nicoise salad was one of the best I have eaten, and the Cassoulet was wonderful....not at all the glorified dish of beans and whatever some restaurants have. Definitely deserves its Micheline star. Now... more

Delicious! Lived up to the reviews. The waiter was very nice - and very good about not disturbing us when we didn't want to be.
