Good but not worth the long lines

We had to try this much-touted bakery in the Thomas Keller stable. He seems to rule this stretch of Washington St in Yountville. The line was out the door and round the corner on the Sunday afternoon we thought we'd like a pastry so we skipped it and went back a couple of days later in the... read more

Talk about attitude. Yeah, Thomas Keller owns the place, but he would be mortified if he knew how poorly we were treated. We were there for our anniversary, ordered a bottle of overpriced Pinot Noir in anticipation of ordering the salmon posted on the board for dinner. This was a 7pm reservation and they were already sold out of the... More

We will never go to the Napa Valley without a stop at Bouchon Bakery. We try different things each time and they are always wonderful. Great for a snack at the time and also to take home for later. Can be quite a line on the weekends, but weekdays are easy.

No better place to get loaf of wonderful bread. However, breakfast sandwiches are quite pricey even though they are tasty. Long lines so recommend visits during off season.

Picked up a few croissants and a apple pastry after seeing the reviews, admiring the lines from the evening before, and hearing it was part of the Thomas Keller group. The croissants were great, but so are the croissants at the chain bakery near our house in Chicago. And the coffee was good, but our hotel's free Pete's was much... More

Boucon is a wonderful stop in the tiny town of Yountville - either on the way to the wine country to pick up a sandwich for a picnic - or on the way home from the Napa Valley for coffee and a cookie. The baked goods are impressively good (my wife loves their macaroons) and they have a great patio... More

We first noticed Bouchon when we drove through Yountville and saw a big line of people at the bakery. It seems to be a very popular spot and therefore you may be queuing up for a few minuets before getting served. The bakery has standard pastry options available, the sample we had was fresh and tasty. There are some tables... More

We also picked up a baguette for our picnic that was wonderful. The quiche was delicious and well worth the 10 min wait. The sticky bun was wonderful. A must stop.
