Good but not worth the long lines

We had to try this much-touted bakery in the Thomas Keller stable. He seems to rule this stretch of Washington St in Yountville. The line was out the door and round the corner on the Sunday afternoon we thought we'd like a pastry so we skipped it and went back a couple of days later in the... read more

We first noticed Bouchon when we drove through Yountville and saw a big line of people at the bakery. It seems to be a very popular spot and therefore you may be queuing up for a few minuets before getting served. The bakery has standard pastry options available, the sample we had was fresh and tasty. There are some tables... More

We also picked up a baguette for our picnic that was wonderful. The quiche was delicious and well worth the 10 min wait. The sticky bun was wonderful. A must stop.

Cherry and chocolate brioche and the Oh=Oh are so special. Pastries like I had in Paris prepared with top quality ingredients. Friendly staff and outdoor tables to enjoy your pastries with great lattes.

Staying in Yountville we immediately noticed that there is a queue out the door each and every time so we were intrigued to see what the hype was about. I walked down the road to grab some breakfast here. I queued and waited in the waft of bakery smells. I ordered a range of pastries for breakfast including raison crossiant... More

I loved their chocolate almond croissant and pastries were really great. We also got the big Macaroons which were OK.

I bought two pastries equalling $9.74. I asked her which ones had chocolate ganache. She recommended two. One tasted like a Hostess Ho Ho with not quality chocolate and the other was so blah, I can't even remember it. The feeling was getting ripped and never getting recommendations again. I do know sugar causes the face skin to wrinkle, so... More

Bought 4 large macarons, some shortbread cookies, and chocolate with toffee. They are all very tasty, the flavors exploding in your mouth with every bite. These are great treats and seem to hold up well (though they are too good to last very long).
