Pretty property on the outside, but rather cold on the inside. Nice plantings and fountains. Good busines hotel, that's the best I can say about it. Not a romantic, charming, warm setting. Food was only okay, except for the proscuitto, which was excellent. more

Well the place was quite pretty when we walked in, but only 4 tables were occupied......how disapointing when you have only 3 evenings in this beautiful region. On top of that the weather droped our 4 drinks on me.....yup, Vodka, Champagne and 2 white wine.......this evening was not getting better!! The food was ok, but after sitting in my alcohol... more

Our outdoor meal for two in June was fabulous. The food is fresh and from local farms, the sauces are light but complex, and the flavors simply delicious. I started with the shellfish salad which was fresh and tasty. I had the Devil's Gulch Pork for my main course - the first bite, with the infusion of flavors from the... more

We ate here on our first night so we were a little tired after traveling all day. We had a wonderful table outside. The restaurant has a very modern/contemporary feel. Our food was good but not fabulous. Our service was rather spotty. My dinner arrived and I had to wait a while for utensils. Someone should have noticed this before... more

Had dinner here last night. We were expecting a good meal but were pleasantly surprised at how good it was - the chef started us with a delicious muse of cold corn soup, then we had fresh Tomales Bay oysters. For dinner I had the lamb two ways-braised and seared-really delicious with some very interesting flavor combinations. My wife had... more

This resturant is new, so I am sure they are still working the kinks out. Overall our meal was very nice, my only complaint was with our main entree, I had a steak which was suppose to be med rare and was actually medium when I got it, plus it was very bland, my wife had some kind of fish... more

Chef Sean O'Toole created a special menu to celebrate a 40th birthday for a group of 14 that was out of this world! He is truly exceptional! The wait staff were there for your every need without being obvious. We will be back to enjoy this place on our own. Wonderful hotel as well! more

Four of us went for a weekend lunch to Bardessono in Yountville. We decided to order off the menu so we asked for "chef's choice" and were thrilled by Chef Sean O'Toole's selection. We started with a crab salad that was light and very interesting because it came with a jelly made with lemongrass essence. Delicious. Next was a gnocchi... more
