This place is the ultimate gas station diner with great burgers, drinks and amazing atmosphere one could only find in Cali. Make sure you stop here on your way down to Santa Cruz from San Fran.

We stopped here because reviews were good. The place was packed and the service was good. We both had sandwiches which were fine. This is just basic bar food. Would warn you that the garlic fries are so garlicky you will taste them all day.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner....it's all good anytime. Try to go in off hours and weekdays otherwise it will probably be crowded. I wonder why.

We loved the burgers here. Neat local atmosphere. We would definitely go back for the relaxing environment and good food.

It's probably the burgers and pies. Hubby said burger was good. Buffalo wings - a deep fried joke (tummy really hurting as a result), ribs - edible at best (did not finish), calamari - kid said it was ok (also did not finish), but the sauce that came with them has been sitting outside in that little cup for some... This past weekend I joined some fellow hikers for lunch at Alice's Restaurant after our trek in the hills. Here's my review: 1. We arrived at around 1:00 pm for lunch on a Sunday. Because of the popularity of this spot, we had a bit of a wait. Note: Alice's is now creating a waiting on their busier days. I... More

Our friends said that we must go here, that Alice's restaurant was something special, and they were right! The drive up high up in the hills along Skyline Blvd was spectacular. We finally arrived at the small and rustic looking restaurant, dwarfed by huge trees. Burgers were the order of the day with so many options. The serves were big!... More

I was recommended to stop here on my drive to the ocean from the Bay. Cyclists, Bikers, and car enthusiasts stop here for a good meal - breakfast, lunch or dinner. Get there before the rush if possible. I didn't have to wait very long. I had a good three egg veggie omelette with the cottage potatoes. Enjoyed the sunny... More

The drive was breathtaking, the food was great. I would love to revisit on my next trip. We sat outside and just enjoyed the beautiful view.
