We just had dinner here on Saturday night and I would love to return during the daytime. I was happy to see all of the locally sourced options. It's a great location and the menu has something for everyone.

That’s the title of the humorous, 20-minute, song by Arlo Guthrie from the 1960’s and it put this place on the map, even some 40 years later. The menu is pretty extensive, perhaps you can’t get anything you want but they probably have any burger you want. The building dates back to the early 1900’s and so does the menu.... More

Food is quite good for the area, very few resteraunts near by. Nice place to stop on the weekend, you are likely to see a few exotic automobiles driving the roads to four courners (hwy 84 and skyline blvd San Mateo county) on a clear day!

I was driving route 1 along the coast and detoured to experience some more wooded areas. I happened upon Alice's and had to stop. Just a cute little place in the middle of nowhere. The interior is "lived-in"..in a good way! Random signs hanging on the walls, T-shirts for sale, bar stools covered in cowhide and very, very well-worn! I... More

What catches my eye every time I go here is the atmosphere; it's almost like a cottage up in the woods and kind of in the middle of nowhere, with beautiful nature and you're surrounded with redwood trees. It has both inside and outside dining area and a separate bar section, which is on the back of the restaurant, where... More

It is just a very charming place, absolutely beautiful location. Its a great drive up there, and the outside seating is just amazing. Although, it was drizzling when we went up there, nonetheless had a great time. The food was great too, and good Beers.

A appetizing smell, the cute cat, and the homey settings drew me in. I ordered the basic burger with fries and a beer. What an awful experience: - the burger has a weird smell I never experienced before, the closest I can describe the smell without trying to be dramatic is that it was a smell and an aftertaste of... So, I REALLY wanted to go here and nothing could spoil my experience. It was a glorious rainy morning in the beautiful forest and this was our first stop of an all-day Cali coast trip. The spot was JUST what I imagined, old, fun, cool peeps, good menu. We had breakfast and drinks. The service was great and the menu... More

A frequent spot for breakfast and dinner. For breakfast I like the Ducati - simple, fast and tasty. For dinner I prefer some of the less heavy options. They do a nice fish with pico de gallo on top. Obviously if you know anything about Alice's, it's packed beyond belief on the weekends. However - still a great place. One... More

Was told it was a big biker place but none were in site on a Thursday at lunch. Fries were underwhelming, but burger was juicy and flavorful. Bathrooms are outside around back of the gas station. Specials on the board looked very good, as did breakfast options. I would try again if in the area.
