A Woodside tradition. Kids and kids-at-heart will marvel at all of the cool stuff that adorns the walls and hang from the ceiling. Wait staff is always pleasant and attentive. Great menu, not to mention cocktail service. Be prepared to wait for a table on weekend mornings.

MUST visit if you're around Woodside. An institution and historical place both for foodies and for tech lovers: here many great deals have been closed (Tesla, PayPal and more). If you're lucky, you could be meeting some great entrepreneurs or vcs from the Valley. The owner will be pleased to tell you more about his amazing collection and restaurant history.... More

We use to have a tradition that we go to bucks every year after a camping trip. They have a scavenger hunt which is great for the kids. But as the kids get older you realize the fun goes away and the you focus on the food and the rest of the place. The food is not that great, not... More

This is THE place for any meal in the San Francisco (Woodside) area. It is an 'institution' - it has been there for years! Their food is incredible. I always go for breakfast and everything I have had was fabulous. My fav is the Eggs Benedict which is perfect. Everyone else had spectacular meals as well. Besides the food, the... More

Buck's is a bit of a hole in the wall. Oftentimes, these places are best. Granted, they have been in business a long time and when I went for takeout on a Wednesday evening, the place was fairly full. The service was friendly and quick. The menu had many choices. But, my experience was disappointing in regards to the food.... More

Artichoke appetizer looked better on paper. Nothing we had as entrees was memorable. Very slow service. Pick a different spot.

This hits on all cylinders: great location, great food, cool atmosphere and great Silicon Valley history. Many of the early tech deals (VC, start-ups, IPO's, etc.) were inked at these tables.

Great food, fantastic collection of the most unusual stuff imaginable (or not!) on the walls and ceiling. Great place for kids, they can do a scavenger hunt to find where various items are displayed. The French Onion soup is excellent, also the Harry's Bar Steak Sandwich. Check their daily specials for other interesting offerings. They serve beer and wine, and... More

This is a must see restaurant. It is full of old collectibles and is so interesting. It is a very busy restaurant and there is a real mix of business and locals here. The New York Steak and Egg breakfast is great. The portions are large and it has a real feel good factor gong on.

Stopped by with our 13 year-old for a late lunch after touring the nearby Filoli estate & gardens. Waitress was helpful, there were plenty of vegetarian options, the nachos were ginormous and the salad was large and very fresh. We had no room for dessert, and took home about half of each entree (we weren't super hungry) but the prices... More
