A local institution, the "wood plank" decor should not obscure the fact that Buck's offers a fresh and distinct take on classic American food. Large portions, reasonable prices, prompt service. What more could you ask?

Buck's is an establishment in this area. It has a long history, many loyal patrons, and quirky environment. Unlike restaurants with fake "eccentric items" on the wall, the stuff here is all real and some of it with some wonderful history.
The food is good, and the staff has always been friendly. This is a place my friends and I...

The food here doesn't impress me, as it's a standard menu of pancakes, waffles, omelets, burgers, club sandwiches, etc, served in huge portions without any fineness. If you go for brunch on a weekend, parking is tough to get, and you'll end up waiting for 45 mins to an hour. That being said, the atmosphere can't be beat. The walls...

This, apparently, is a popular spot for Silicon Valley meetings. So, it may be very busy at popular meal hours. I was fortunate enough to meet over brunch on a Monday morning. We got a table right away. The service was good- attentive and informative, friendly and polite. The food was delivered without any delays, and it was all well-prepared...

An interesting and eclectic place to eat. Easy parking within a small shopping center. Decor is most unusual with all kinds of "memorabilia" and "stuff". Patrons are a few wealthy from within Woodside itself, some tourists; some contractors, some bicycle riders and a few from nearby Silicon Valley. While you eat look at all of the "stuff" afixed to the...

Bucks has a very fun atmosphere, friendly and relaxed. But the food wasn't special in any way which is unusual in this part of the world where good organic local eating is an art form. Location and service are excellent, but don't make a special trip.
We were at Filoli Gardens deciding do we go to Half Moon Bay OR visit Woodside down the road to eat lunch...The Village Pub had some event going on and then we saw this one other restaurant called 'Buck's'. PLAIN from the outside BUT OMG, the interior was done in the most ecletic style of craziness, it was HILARIOUS!!! The...

Perfect place for an early meal with family, including 90-something mother and 20-something daughter. Everyone was entertained by the menu and decor, and the food was good. Burgers, crab sandwich, ribs all disappeared. The hot fudge sundae was worth saving some room for-- chilled goblet full of rich ice cream, dark warm fudge sauce, and homemade whipped cream. Don't know...

Buck's is clearly an iconic restaurant. Not so much for the food, but rather the interesting items stuffed into every possible space in the building. No need to worry about how long your meal will be delivered, as staring at the exhibits will make the time fly by. I enjoyed my visit, but if I was a local I don't...

We love Bucks. The food is always good. The atmosphere is incredible. It's so much fun. The menu, believe it or not, is worth the trip. The commentary from the owner and other writers is just hilarious. No wonder why this is a local treasure. It's quite casual, and is known for being a spot where silly valley deals get...
