Delicious beet salad. Hamburger and terrific fries. Lots of more refined things, but always good. Excellent soups, always fresh fish on the menu. Center seating crowded and noisy--go for one of the cosy booths.

This is an upscale restaurant with one Michelin Star in Woodside, CA. It's patrons include wealthy locals, and the corporate crowd for upscale business dinner. While it is not required, most men wear a jacket and button down shirt, and women nice slacks, skirts or cocktail dresses. They also have a bar that is good for the middle-age crowd.
My Rep from work and a friend of mine went last Tuesday night. She had never been and I felt I needed to change that quickly. My husband I love this place. We sit at the bar and have dinner ad drinks regularly. My friends and I found a place at the bar and from that moment my Rep was...

Consider going early and eating at the bar to save money. But the food can't be beat! Always fresh and local. Highly recommended.
With so many good restaurants in the Peninsula to choose from, which I have all visited over the years, I can say without hesitation that the Woodside Village Pub ranks among the best of the best for a European style food experience. It is pricey, and service can be a tad slow as others have noted, but the food and...

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday evening in December after being at an early-evening party to get something to eat--she has lunch here occasionally and likes it. They could take us at a bar table which serves the regular menu. The place was packed. It had been years since I had eaten at the Pub, and it...

this is a very nice special occasion place. Food is excellent as is the wine list. Fireplace and nice bar.
Have eaten at The Village Pub many times, food very good...service at times a problem. On December 16, 2012 service was very disappointing. Took 15 minutes to hail down someone to take a cocktail order. Both cocktails arrived, almost brimming over the top, ready to spill. We had to have some of the drink put in an extra glass. Then...

Booked this place for a small Holiday Lunch as everything else in Palo Alto was booked. One would expect a restaurant on Woodside to be good, however this little place is not what one would expect. The most expensive dish on the menu was $21 which was totally unexpected and the food was absolutely exceptional, service amazing. What really impressed...

The food and especially their service are fantastic - best in the Bay Area. The prices are pretty elevated. A hamburger and glass of wine for two was literally $80, so bring your corporate expense account.
