Really cozy ambiance with interesting dishes. Really solid service and nice folks working the establishment.

Read a lot about this place, finally got around to try it. First impression: this is a pretty nice place, cozy and friendly. Over all: 1. Food is well prepared, fresh, and tasty 2. Price is reasonable -- both for food and drinks 3. Wait staff is very friendly -- and knowledgable of the menu Will I go back: Yes... More

I was lucky enough to come here for a work event with 7 of my co-workers. The restaurant is very quaint and cozy! It is a very small restaurant and is better suited for smaller parties. The serves was excellent but I think our large party probably created more noise than other patrons in the restaurant would have liked. Note... More

Great service, attention to detail with a smile, with a typical "only in California" unique food. The place has great Hungarian wine, which is a surprising touch.

At my son's encouragement, we chose Station 1 for a Thursday evening dinner to spend some quality time with our out of town guest. We expected a slow night, and were seated right away when we showed up 30 minutes before our reservation, but the house filled up within the time we started actual dining. The menu included some seasonal... More

For our 18th anniversary, my husband and I didn't want to travel a great distance or pay a huge sum (been there, done that at Post Ranch Inn). We opted to stay right at home in Woodside and visit Station 1, located in the building formerly occupied by John Bentley's. For us, a great dining experience is a combination of... More

I made reservations for my husbands birthday one month in advance. When we got there, they seated us in the outside patio area which was not heated and freezing cold. It was October and they shouldnt have even had this outside patio open. I felt very upset that I had made a reservation and they still seated us outside! We... More

We have been huge fans of this gem of a restaurant since it opened a couple of years ago. We go as often as we can, quarterly if not monthly, because the menu changes with the cycle of what is locally fresh and available in season. The flavor combinations in every dish, including the bread, the cheese course and most... More

Station 1 does everything right. Each of the three courses we tried in their prix fixe menu displayed the talents of a mature and skilled chef. Flavors were layered, with each dish complex, subtle, and beautifully integrated. Service suited the customer and was appropriately attentive. This was our third visit to Station 1, and the food has gotten better each... More

It is a very small restaurant with about 36 seats. We enjoyed everything about it from the pre-fix options to the setting and so on. As for the food, I recommend Farm Egg w Bacon. It was very delicious.
