I drove over from Davis looking for a cafe farmers might frequent. Found it on Main Street. Abundant portions. Pancakes perfect. Bacon cooked to perfection. Decaf coffee robust. I ordered "Just a Bite" which was both plenty of food and a good deal. Definitely coming back.

I love bananas Foster. Honestly. Love it. So I was super excited to see that this place offered steel cut oatmeal with bananas Foster. The combination of a healthy steel cut oatmeal smothered in bananas cooked in butter and brown sugar sounded like heaven. It was 10:45. They might be out according to the waitress, so I offered a backup... More

From breakfast burritos to fancy egg dishes the offerings at Savory are always tasty. They are readily available on the Main Street and their staff is friendly and helpful. Good food and a fun open ambience.

My family and I occasionally go to The Savory for brunch when my sister and I are home from college. I always imagine The Savory as this great brunch place from when I was younger. However, the food quality has gone down hill. The food is blasé, the eggs taste more like butter than actual eggs. The service is slow... More

We stopped here on our way out of Woodland. Had been eating a lot on vacation and wanted to eat in downtown and not a chain restaurant. Our hotel recommended the Savory. Dad loved the meatloaf sandwich, mom's coleslaw came topped with almonds (yum). Many locals eat here because the staff called them by name. Sat by the big windows... More

We had breakfast here on our way to the airport. It was nothing special. We had regular breakfast fare, eggs, bacon, toast and pancakes. There was nothing wowing about it. Just a regular breakfast. Service was fine. You had to get a key to use the restroom in the courtyard which was awkward especially when the key broke and all... More

The Savory is the place to go for breakfast or lunch and it pays to get there early. If you love their split pea soup like I do, they might run out by the time I get there. I will never forget the time my husband and I decided to have a Sunday lunch there and forgot about the after... More

Came in for sunday breakfast. Staff totally ignored us. Had to retrieve flatware and napkins ourselves. Wouldnever recommend this place. Took 30 min to get breakfast after we ordered.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning while driving from Or to So. Cal. Wanted something not part of a big chain type place. This is the type of place most small towns have had for years yet we see fewer & fewer of as small eateries disappear. If you're calorie conscious, this might not be the place to... More
