Average food, nice deli

The food was average, turkey sandwich was just that, sweet potato fries were good. My husband's double cheeseburger was enormous and he liked it. My son had spaghetti which was average and my daughter did not like the hot dog. The deli has a great selection of certain foods like olives and cheese... read more

I recently stayed in Williams expecting to eat at Denny's. When we got there it was closed so we went to granzellas. We ordered a taco salad and a Cobb salad. The lettuce was old and chinks of hard white lettuce. The taco salad was drowned in sour cream the meat was greasy and globbed in cheese. I have never... More

I have been frequenting this establishment since the late 80s. It only gets better with each visit. Whether you are looking for a deli sandwich, or a full blown meal you won't go wrong with a stop here!

This was a pleasant surprise. Williams is a sleepy little town between Sacramento and the wine country. The restaurant had great food at good prices and the deli had all kinds of treasures

My stops in Williams seem to be limited to overpriced gasoline. I drove around the block with our vintage travel trailer and saw this place, absolutely packed Went in and it was a full service cafe, deli and had a bit of everything. Got the Italian hot tongue head cheese sandwich on their homemade briefed. Very good. Lots of locally... More

We stopped here on our way to Mendocino. A central location and we were hungry. We enjoyed the lunch which was delicious and good customer service. We also enjoyed the store which had many deli items. There were all kinds of jellies, mustard, olive oil, candies, etc. We stocked up and munched along the way.

We travel to and from Oregon to California for family several times a year. Stopping at Granzella's has become our favorite place to stop for a restful lunch. Yesterday 2/20/15 they featured a seafood sandwich on toasted sourdough bread it was out of this world delicious. I had their sweet potato fries as a side dish. Tons of food actually... More

If you like tourist places, you may like Granzella's Restaurant. The building houses a deli, ice cream counter, restaurant and a lot of promotional items with the Granzella's name on them (aprons, beer cozies, hats, etc.). The staff was fairly friendly, speed of service was average, and the breakfast was very similar to a Denny's or Sherri's with tourist-rated prices... More
