We celebrated an 80th birthday luncheon for 35 family members/friends at Dattilo, and I have to say "Thank You, Francesca for helping us have a great party!" The experience was excellent. The food delicious. Specialty drinks creative and served with enthusiasm. Service was great. Booking a party here was hassle free, the menu selections for the buffet are plentiful, the... More

The menu offers a wonderful selection of authentic Italian food. Everything is freshly prepared including the pasta and bread which are made daily. For an apetizer, I had the stuffed date wrapped in prosciutto with a balsamic reduction.....devine! Their lasagna and marinara sauce are by far one of the best I have ever tasted. The owner, his wife and daughter... More

The food, presentation, and ambience keep us coming back. Being situated on the main street of uptown Whittier, it is convenient with near by parking and a pleasant place to stroll after dinner.

Love this place. The food is outstanding. The menu is extensive and the food is fresh and authentic. Try the clam sauce, the clams won't be swimming in butter, they know how to make clam sauce!. The place is very classy looking and tastefully laid out. The owners and the staff are first class. I can't recommended enough!

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely patio. Very nice owner, friendly staff. The food is very hit and miss, it tends to be bland, and uninspired. The tapas are very good but very pricy.

This restaurant is so unlike almost anything in the area. We go there everytime we're in Whittier on business. They always give us wonderful service [especially when the restaurant is not terribly busy]. We've never had a bad meal. To answer some of the critics, yes, they do charge extra for the bread -- but it's homemade right there on... More

This restaurant is way overpriced! The serving sizes are small and the service was a nightmare. I went with a group of four people and there was not one thing that I enjoyed. The manacotti that I ordered tasted like it was made out of a flour tortilla. They even charged extra for bread! What's that about? I think we... More

Great food, beautiful place, wonderful wine and the service was classy. The roast peppers with fresh baked bread was so yummy...but the pasta was also perfect. When you bring a party of twenty and everyone was celebrating like italians with passion (we are not italians it is nice to pretend). The best surprise was the area I have never been... More
