Their specials were special!

We went for dinner and had a great meal and great service. We both had one of their specials. My wife had the scallops. She had sauteed spinach as a side. The scallops were very good. I had the halibut special. It had a parmesan crust on top with white pepper. It was fantastic. On the side... read more

I have been here several times now and they do go a bit over the top with the old fashioned style service. Somtimes it really hits the spot but other times they struggle to pull the cork out of a bottle of wine. The food is excellent though and worth the wait but there is a price to pay.

My family and I brought my husband here to celebrate Father's Day. We had a 515 reservation. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly. However, once seated, we were forgotten about. After about 5 minutes, we flagged someone down and asked for some water. Our server came shortly after and introduced himself. He thoroughly explained... More

Okay, so we have been going to this restaurant since they opened, and historically it has been a great meal and service, even perfection, until now... Over the last few months, the quality of the food has declined, and the service has gone downhill with it. Let's talk food... Over cooked meat and fish, rubbery scallops, and rubbery salty mushrooms... More

Took an international group of colleagues to this restaurant in a Westlake Village shopping enclave and my UK friends couldn't get enough of the excellent prime rib and delightful asparagus. My crab cakes were good (but my standard is genuine Maryland, so tough to measure up.). That being said, The Grill on the Alley somehow made mashed potatoes into a... More

I liked the upbeat atmosphere, creative menu, and accommodating service. We enjoyed 3 courses and all were equally tasty and fun. The service was quick and gracious. I'd recommend this restaurant for a celebration.

This restaurant and bar just has to be one of the best in WLV. The food has always been very close to perfection! A bit pricey, but well worth the expenditure. The service is crisp and professional. Plus, their bar is great! Nice, clean and streamlined. A great place for a casual discussion with friends or a business meeting. And...... More

Horrible service, good and an overpriced menu. We went here for dinner and walk away shaking our heads about the poor service we received and the highly inflated prices for the small sample size portions you receive. There are plenty of better choices in Westlake to visit compared to this place.

Excellent food and service. The tuna sashimi with the fried spinach is to die for. I went twice in a week because it was so good. They make great Old Fashions.

We loved The Grill on the Alley. The service was quick and gracious. The food was served at the right temperature and my steak was tender and delicious. I would recommend it for small or large group parties. It is not really the type of place you would have a quiet, intimate meal - it is a very busy place.... More
