Food was Amazing!

We loved The Grill on the Alley. The service was quick and gracious. The food was served at the right temperature and my steak was tender and delicious. Visiting from Australia, and travelling throughout Texas & California, this was our best meal of the trip! Excellent personalised service with suburb meals - the desert was big enough for 3!

This apparently usually good restaurant could not get things right. We specifically asked that the soup be very hot. 3 of the 5 who had soups sent it back, the others sufficed with warm soup. On person has to send his meat back twice to be hot. Lamb chop sauce was overpowering. It took three asks to get bread and... More

$440 later I walked away underwhelmed and puzzled. How can a high end restaurant serve such very, very average food at that price? Even if we have paid 1/2, it still would have been average. Three ordered highly recommended specials -- Kansas City steak and Mediterranean fish. The actual fish was mostly flavorless and even special preparations on it were... More

Reserved through OT. This had been my go to as the best restaurant in the Conejo Valley, but no longer based on dinner earlier Monday night. Three stars rather than four is due to my expectations for this restaurant. Ordered soup and mushroom side dish as appetizers. Soup was very very good, mushrooms did not come unitl dinner. Asked three... More

We can't say enough good things about Grill on the Alley. The food is consistently fantastic, and the service is head and shoulders above the rest. Tait is our favorite bartender, and because of his demeanor/professionalism/personality, we ALWAYS choose to sit in the bar. This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants!

Grill on the Alley in Westlake Village is always a treat! We shared the stone crab appetizer special, which were delicious! We shared the wedge salad and the bone in steak. Always a special treat!

This past Thursday I took my wife to the Grill on the Alley in Westlake Village for her birthday. Neither of us had been there for dinner and we loved it. It's in the classic steakhouse mold, with a beautiful warm ambience of dark wood, white table cloths, sparkling crystal and white-jacketed servers. While there is a fairly diverse menu... More

Grill on the Alley is the type of Restraunt where you feel like you own the place. Everything on the menu from the Steaks to the Lobster Bisque soup are perfect. The service is second to none. When you walk in you'll know "You have arrived". Go and enjoy!
