We arrived w/our reservations in hand (from the Beverly Wilshire) ready for what was sure to be a dining experience - the hostess hardly looked up and said that our reservations were for the next night then implied that it was the hotels fault (rude) - the maitre'd looked annoyed then said it was ok for us to sit. He... More

The Tower bar feels very classic old Hollywood as opposed to the Ivy where celebrities go to be seen. The vibe is classy and romantic but still very cool and fun for all ages. The bar scene is crowded, but not rowdy and it's a great place to people watch while also having an intimate dinner. The food was good... More

I've only been here once, and that was (more than) enough. Scene was way cool but the prices were ridiculous. $18 for a glass of chardonnay? NOT.

Great Atmosfere but the food is average, it used to be better, something has changed and it's a pity because the menu used to be so much better and with more choices... Still lovely to sit and enjoy the elegant people, hope they catch up with the food again soon

Made a reservation for a party of 7 in the Tower Bar well in advance of desired date. A couple of days before visit, we called and spoke with hostess informing her it was our first time and asked for her suggestion on keeping Tower Bar reservation or dining at Terrace. She suggested Terrace for views, etc. and sunset. Never... More

Tony, our bartender, was excellent! Gave great recommendations and wonderful service. Was such a pleasure to talk to, very knowledgable, and really made our experience there memorable. Lobster tacos were amazing too! Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

I stay at the Sunset Towers Hotel about one a month for work and am NEVER disappointed with the food or service. I had a fantastic Cobb salad today and was fortunate to have Jon and Joseph serving me. I wanted to order an Allagash white to go with my salad, but they were all out. Joseph immediately suggested a... More

The bar is not at the top of a hotel as the name may suggest but it's on ground level but has nice views because the hotel is on a hill. Drinks are more expensive than average.

We loved the chic and sophisticated atmosphere. Derek, our bartender was a real professional! He made us feel comfortable immediately and did the same for everyone at the bar that night. The drinks were amazing too! I noticed a woman dining alone and Derek serviced her beautifully too, knowing how to advise her on her food and drink selections and... More

I loved the terrace restaurant by the pool! The food was great and the service was so kind and helpful. Angel was one of best waiters due to his kindness and fast service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nice view and good food and staff.
