Fabulous.

Overall a cool, trendy out door gay bar where the music is fab, the food and beverage choices are vast. Outdoors is quiet enough to converse where as indoors you have go go dancers and music blasting fabulous tunes. Prices are quite steep, but overall a great night out on the town.

We passed this place while on aTMZ tour bus. The owner/manger (?) happened to be on the (great!) patio and came to the bus. When I asked him if we could partake of their Sunday special - Mimosas by the pitcher - he said "come on in!": He proceeded to give our group a tour of the place and told... More

We have enjoyed a couple of meals here and also some drinking sessions too. The food is good, the staff are all very sexy and hot looking. The drinks and cocktails are lovely, especially the Abbey Lemonades. Definitely worth a visit, either for lunch or for dinner or for a few drinks at night with your friends!

One of the staples in WEHO, beautiful people, great drinks, and a great start and end point to the night. Absolutely love this place. Will be back in August on our next trip.

When you mention WeHo bars, this is generally the first place that people think of. It's big, loud and been there the longest. It's nice... serves food during the day. Has a pretty good coffee shop with pastries too.

Our waiter was excellent once they realized we were there. He was very friendly and helpful - kept checking on us and refilling glasses as fast as we were drinking. For the price, I was expecting more. With that said, the food was decent-just nothing to write home about. We had tacos and salads. Tacos were from the "share" menu,... More

We always try to eat here when we are in town for LA Pride. Food is served fast and is amazingly delicious. At night the place becomes a night club and is jammed pack with people. Really hard to move around to have a good time but that was to be expected since it was LA Pride. Will definatly be... More

Expected the worst and we were right - very pretentious to say the least (was expecting that really) but nothing special at all

While in West Hollywood, we knew The Abbey was going to be a definite location. We went for Sunday brunch and it was amazing! The Bloody Mary's were delicious and well portioned as were our meals. Excellent wait staff, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a nice mixture of laid-back people, people watching is a must. Decor is attractive with... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
