Great vegetarian burgers

Went to Hamburger Mary's because heard of the show on a Friday night and that it offered diner style food. The venue is fun with quirky pictures. I ordered the mac n cheese balls. Oh my word these were super delicious and I would go back just for these. The absolute winner was the vegetarian... read more

Right on the corner in West Hollywood. No better spot for people watching with a nice porch to eat on. The menu was very interesting. The burgers are the best! Huge portions. The chili burger is highly recommended. Fries and onion rings delicious. Service was excellent and lots of fun. Stop by. It is worth it.

Hamburger Mary's is a Hollywood must-do. Located in the heart of West hollywood, has great fun drinks (with moderate pricing), yummy food and a great view for people watching.

We were there for Drag Queen brunch on a Sunday. It was a total blast! The show was very fun and entertaining. The food was ok. We would go again for the fun and drinks!!

This place was so disappointing. Went for Happy Hour on a Friday after traveling all day. No Happy Hour. Bartender was not helpful nor attentive. Drinks were weak and food less than good. I had been to other Hamburger Mary's and they good food, drinks and were fun. Would never go back to this one.

We heard through a celebrity making an appearance about this place so my friend and I decided to add it to our trip itinerary. We went for the Drag Queen Bingo and for our night we were supporting a charity "Pug Nation" (which you donate $20 at the door and then get your playing cards). This was probably the most... More

We had heard a lot about Hamburger Mary's and since we were in Hollywood, we gave it a try for a late lunch. It has a unique decor about it and it's something that you have to see once. After the first visit, it will be up to you if you want to return. The service was good and the... More

We contemplated coming here for a show later in the day but wanted to grab a drink mid-day. We enjoyed the street fronting patio and the mixed drinks we ordered were good but the service was so inattentive and the server so obnoxious, we left after one drink. The crowd post-lunch was a bit weird - sure, not a big... More

This restaurant dates back to the days when gay establishments could get away with sub-standard food and service. I will not return.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
