food and atmosphere very good

This is a local eclectic place with a slight Italian slant. Great pizza, pasta dishes and appetizers. Minestrone soup was authentic and Service very good. Hoping bar area. Quaint so make a reservation as packed on a Monday night when we were there.

Back bar is dark, moody and unpretentious. Good pizza and impressive and well rounded cocktail list. Just remember back bar doesn't open till 7 but fills quickly.

This bar is awesome. The staff are super friendly and very engaging with customers. The cocktails here are delectable! I had a Groupie and my mate chose an Old Fashioned. Both to be recommended. There is a wonderful atmosphere and the lighting, although a little dark for menu reading, really adds to the ambience! There is a wonderful selection of... More

A loud restaurant/bar atmosphere with a cool old school set up. Food was so yum and quick to come, cocktails really strong and staff really good service. The crowd is mainly 21-35yr olds, who do think they are "the cool kids" but it isnt intimidating. The only downside was we had a date next to us who reallly couldnt keep... More

It is always great to find a place where the locals eat. It looks and feels like a Classic Italian restaurant, the guys all went for the spaghetti and meatballs, while I went for the thin crust pizza. We enjoyed our meals and it was served with typical LA style. Don't miss the opportunity to check out the photos in... More

We had a great dinner here on our first night in West Hollywood. As with other reviews the entrance looks closed but if you seek out the fire exit your in. The decor is very cool but understated old school Italian mafia with red leather booths, ceiling mirrors and a great bar area to wait if there isn't a table.... More

I almost forgot about this place and glad I started going back. This has always been such a chill spot to grab some dinner and mingle or just grab a drink and people watch. Always such a diverse crowd and chill fun people. The experience just hits the spot. Only thing is that the host at the front is a... More

Went here because the reviews seemed good. Apart from it beingvhard to find the entrance (which just enhanced the in the know feeling) we liked the set up and ambience. Staff were friendly & attentive. It was busy so a booth table wasn't available but the annexe section was perfectly fine, busy & bubbly. Had pizzas which were very nice... More

We were looking for a place for lunch and happened upon Jones. What a great quaint place. We arrived just in time and beat the lunch rush (No empty tables). The place became packed where they were turning people away. The food was great and the bread was warm and to die for. A must for lunch or dinner

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
