This organic restaurant is so fresh that I return on each and every visit to LA. Usually several times per visit. All produce is organic, the menu is amazing and the quality is fantastic! My favorite is their Caravan Kale Salad with Chicken added! So Good! Their Japanese Tea Latte's are hard to beat. They're almost too pretty to drink!... More

Stopped here around 5pm one afternoon for some casual food and coffee and it definitely delivered. It wasn't busy, easy to find a table outside by the street and nice and relaxed enjoying the food and drinks and watching the world go by. Had the turkey burger, egg burger and coffees. All delivered with a smile and was very tasty.... More

WOW. I've never had anything like their Spanish latte. Expensive, but a worth a visit. Try their multi-grain waffle as well, with a side of fresh season berries.

Al fresco dining available. $$$ Stand in line. Order. and they bring it to you. Typically good food and good service. "Eco friendly" sourced coffee and tea. This location is the "Flagship" store. If several people in your party, one person snags a table, while other's order the food and beverages. Jess Kalinowsky Bon Vivant!

Okay, my 16 year old dragged me here. I used to live in L.A., boy has it changed in some ways and not in others, and this is a fascinating study in that. This is the epicenter for wannabee-look-at-me's; that hasn't changed about L.A. My daughter is wild about you-tubers, and found them all posting about this place. She met... More

Crowded with people out of one of Dante's circle, Don't go for the self service average food and coffee (picked sustainably by virgins on a misty Eco mountain top). Go if you like guys with hats and a free afternoon, or if your thing is entitled bored adolescents who are pretending.

Urth is a delightful lunch option (and great way to break up an afternoon of shopping on Melrose). The drinks are very good-- especially their coffees. But make sure to leave time for a meal. The salads are dressed with the most delicious salad dressing, the curried chicken salad had the perfect balance of seasonings and ingredients. And the break... More

I love this place. The food is so great along with the coffees and teas. You have to try the bubble tea. They serve sandwiches, soups and salads. Deserts like cookies, cakes too. If you pass an Urth Caffe in LA stop and try it. You might have a wait, but that is because it is that good.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
