I had lunch here and really enjoyed it. I had the curried chicken salad tartine, which is an open-faced sandwich made with their freshly-baked bread and the chicken salad on top. It was served with a cranberry chutney, which was absolutely amazing! I could not resist some more freshly baked goodies, so I had a scone with jam and cream... More

Great menu, then you walk inside & see many more yummy delicacies, coffee is great (other Aussies will know how hard it is to find good coffee in the US), Staff were excellent, great little place to eat & watch the world go by.

Just next to the very popular Urth caffe is this gem. Went here for lunch and absolutely loved the Gazpacho with avocado!

Nice diversity on their menu, soups, salads, tartines, and for brunch a moist omelet with just tomato bits and sliced avocado - sublime - really, through in a latte or a green tea. Perfect morning. The prices are reasonable we left for around $40 stuffed. $13 for our main dish $4 for the drink.

We enjoyed a delicious gazpacho, as well as an excellent tartine of ricotta and mission figs. Service was charming and efficient. The covered patio was very comfortable, and the location is great, just by the Pacific Design Center. I did not even realize that this is a chain, until my friend mentioned it.

I love the outdoor seating. the waffles are too good.At this point I think of our waitress as a friend. The place is condusive to pleseant conversations with the other patrons. you would never know it is part of... More

For a chain the food is pretty good. It's reliable and unique at the same time. The bright with high ceilinged atmosphere vibe is great for lunch or brunch. They offer a decent selection of french style salads and open faced sandwiches

Why are we reviewing chains? Not sure, but I like Le Pain Quotidien. Good food, though I think a little overpriced for what you get.

This growing chain has a number of locations in the Los Angeles area. They tout using organic flour and eggs, and as such this evidently allows them to charge prices that are a little over the average. The coffee is good and at $3.50 you get a small pot, good for a couple cups, which you can have refilled for... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat while shopping on Robertson and went in here. For breakfast we had oatmeal which was great, pastry, also excellent and yogurt granola (very good not amazing). The oj and americanos were great. For lunch my wife had a vegetarian soup, terrific, my wife had a salad with quinoa, which was superb and I... More
