I know this is a chain, but this location always feels like a independent cafe. Staff are friendly and service is good. It's not as trendy as the Urth Caffe down the block but you can almost always get a seat outside (or in). The lattes come in LARGE bowls, strong, and hot. They have a chia seed quinoa scone... More

I like to walk when I can in LA, the Pain Quotidien is a short walk from where I stay in West Hollywood. I enjoy eating outdoors especially when it's freezing in New York and warm in LA. I like their omelettes, orange juice, and French toast. Which what I enjoyed last time I had breakfast there. Service with a... More

Tried everything on the menu. This one is a better alternative to Urth Cafe. Drinks are fine and food comes quickly. Prices aren't bad either.

I enjoyed this food. This is the first time I have received greens (salad) with my breakfast. Both of my kids did not like the greens, or the oatmeal that was not laced with sugar. Each meal also came also with some great bread. Overall I would recommend this place, but choose wisely for the kids.

Went with my husband for lunch last Saturday. He had been before and really enjoyed. Metered street parking is available and convenient. The outdoor seating was very nice and many people go just to eat and enjoy the day. Arrived at 1pm and you seat yourself. The patio was busy but we were able to find a table. Menu was... More

I had lunch here and really enjoyed it. I had the curried chicken salad tartine, which is an open-faced sandwich made with their freshly-baked bread and the chicken salad on top. It was served with a cranberry chutney, which was absolutely amazing! I could not resist some more freshly baked goodies, so I had a scone with jam and cream... More

Great menu, then you walk inside & see many more yummy delicacies, coffee is great (other Aussies will know how hard it is to find good coffee in the US), Staff were excellent, great little place to eat & watch the world go by.

Just next to the very popular Urth caffe is this gem. Went here for lunch and absolutely loved the Gazpacho with avocado!

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
