No soy sauce, no rolls, just superb fish

I often wondered why we are served soy sauce and wasabi with sushi and sashimi, when the fish flavors are supposed to be so delicate. None were needed here because the fish stands out all by itself or with really delicate sauces. This unimposing restaurant on the upper floor of a small strip mall... read more

Located in a weird little mall off sunset, I almost missed this place. Recommended by a friend, I went to meet a friend for lunch and was able to get a table for two without reservation in the small traditional room, although i hear booking is essential for the evening. This is a serious sushi bar, no california rolls in... More

I have been to Sushi Park many times, chef Peter is always there to great me and my group and takes great pride in the fish he serves. If you want rolls and dishes, this is not the place for you, but if you want Omakase (chef menu) Sushi and dont have a problem paying for quality, then this is... More

Hands down, the absolute best sushi I have ever had. I love sushi and this blew anything before it out of the water. Presentation was incredible and I loved the "soy/no soy" instruction! CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK!!!

Sushi Park is the first to tell you not go to there if you are looking for a california roll or chicken teriyaki. This is the land of omasake, chef's choice - and you eat what you are served. But damn is it good. Food will keep coming til you tell them to stop, and the last dish is a... More

Ok, this place is pricey....but it is well worth it. We all did the chef's special. They will continue to bring you sushi until you tell them you're done. It costed us around $135 a person, but you're super full and completely satisfied. We go here at least once a month and we live all the way by John Wayne... More

Do not let yourself get confussed by the surroundings, because the sushi is excellent. Though you have to be aware of the fact that they do not serve trendy sushi, no tempura roll, no california roll and no spicy tuna roll just like the sign expresses before you enter this place. We do not regret going there because none of... More
