Nice place, convenient location

On Santa Monica Blvd. is a very convenient place to stop, easy parking. Food was quite tasty, and plentiful. Pleasant service, clean place.

Spectacularly ordinary, although the portions are quite filling. But come on, kids, your dishes need to provide a kick to the tastebuds, as being bland just doesn't cut the (hot) mustard.

We were staying at the W hotel in Hollywood. There are no real chinese restaurants within easy walking distance. Plenty of Thai and Japanese places but we really wanted Chinese. So I saw Kung Pao's online reviews and they were truly mixed but underneath all the polarities was a general consistency, good chinese food. We ordered by phone, and they... More

Wanted to try this one because of a friend liked it on FourSquare. It was a little after 1am and pretty quit. Service was very friendly asking the right questions making my meal the right one for my mood. The food was served quickly but it sure didn't taste Fast-Food-Ich I had the Sweet & Sour chicken and it was... More

We are using Kung Pao Bistro for home delivery only. We like their chinese food and it's delivered quick as well. The restaurant itself doesn't look like a restaurant at all. It has very simple interior with regular patio like furniture, but it is situated in the great West Hollywood area. I would recommend this restaurant, their chinese food is... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
