A People Watchers Dish!

For Casual eating there is nothing better - it is also a great place for people watching! The service is great and the ambience is pleasing.

Finally, after eating here and there in the L.A. area (and with remorse), we finally sat down at an utterly charming French bistro terrace and had an excellent meal. Fresh products, delicious cuisine, to-die-for French pastry, and fantastic service ! Merci to Le patron and his staff !

My wife and I had dinner here with a friend from Hollywood. We sat near the back and chatted well into the evening. The girls had salads, one vegetable and one seared tuna with quinoa. Both were excellent. I, unfortunately, had the beef tacos where were not great. Our friend warned me that it was a French restaurant. I should... More

I was visiting from UK and really wanted to go to the wildfox flagship store. After having an amazing shopping spree there probably over doing it lol, I went to grab brunch. Had heard Chin Chin is good through reviews on tripadvisor, decided to go there first. I needed wifi to get an Uber so asked the hostess whether they... More

Wonderful restaurant. Made us feel so welcome. Our waitress Rose had a big smile on her face and nothing was too much trouble. When told we were on honeymoon gave us a complimentary cream cake. Simply delicious. The owner Alex was so welcoming and so friendly and made us feel like family. Our food was wonderful, wine was great and... More

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE - The owner who speaks with a strong accent fails to understand the importance of customer service in the USA. When I brought my complaint to his attention, he was defensive, disrespectful and told me "do what you have to do and I will do what I have to do." Folks- this is not a place... More

We walked to this restaurant from the hotel. It had a patio which I liked so we sat outside. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered a shrimp pasta dish and my beau ordered a chicken salad that he didn't like and sent it back. They made him a burger instead and he also enjoyed the frog legs. Nice... More

Since Clafoutis closed and we like French cuisine, we decided to try Petit Four. Food was quite acceptable, although without refinement. Sorry to get the impression of a fast money business: tables very close and crowdy and they bring your main course ten seconds after you finished your appetizer and before they listen to your wine order. I miss Clafoutis.

Since I was there last. I had never been there for lunch and it was a hot day. Ate out on the patio, had gazpacho soup and a crab salad. Both were outstanding. Was quite impressed.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
