The food is very good with generous portions, the service friendly and professional, the ambience is nice with beautiful and young gay customers... What else do you want? :-)

After a hot walk down Santa Monica Blvd we discovered a busy Brazilian restaurant. Nice patio dining. We ordered the boneless chicken and the salmon fillet. The chicken had been flattened, and very over cooked. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The fried plantains and black beans were stand outs. An average to good restaurant for a casual dinner.

We had several smaller dishes and shared across the table, which was great. Very good food, good drinks and great and professional service (even if they thought we were German and this was the day after the "infamous" WC match between Brazil and Germany...)

Very good food, polite and happy waitress Sara, nice ambience. Try Filé a Cavalo, very good portion can easily serve 2 people.

Okay, bossa nova is one of my favorite restaurants (late night) but I decided to go during the day (Sunday) , the service was horrible, the waitress had an extreme attitude!! My food was cold, and the complimentary bread we received seemed wet?.. Pretty gross, when I complained about my food being cold she had it heated and it was... More

It was getting late and we were very hungry so just wanted a place that had parking and didn't have a long wait, but Bossa Nova did not disappoint. Service was excellent and food was reasonable-none of us had the Brazilian BBQ as we ordered other items off the menu, but be warned that portions are large especially when sides... More

The guy who meets and greets was the first person we saw chewing gum. He was really going for it and it looked so wrong. Then I noticed a waitress with gum and then another. It's just not a good look if you are customer fronting staff members. Food was ok, generous glass of wine. All in all good, not... More
