Very good Brazilian restaurant.

The food is very good with generous portions, the service friendly and professional, the ambience is nice with beautiful and young gay customers... What else do you want? :-)

Once seated their was a little confusion since we had two waiter come to our table at different times asking us the same questions. I wonder if the two servers thought our... More

After a hot walk down Santa Monica Blvd we discovered a busy Brazilian restaurant. Nice patio dining. We ordered the boneless chicken and the salmon fillet. The chicken had been flattened, and very over cooked. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The fried plantains and black beans were stand outs. An average to good restaurant for a casual dinner.

We had several smaller dishes and shared across the table, which was great. Very good food, good drinks and great and professional service (even if they thought we were German and this was the day after the "infamous" WC match between Brazil and Germany...)

Very good food, polite and happy waitress Sara, nice ambience. Try Filé a Cavalo, very good portion can easily serve 2 people.

location - they had own car park so was good, we're tourists so it was helpful. they also have roadside 2hr carpark (not too many) premise - easy crowd, mainly families. staff - the Maitre'D was polite but cant say so much for the lady waitress who served us. food - portions are HUGE, we're not used to that portion... Okay, bossa nova is one of my favorite restaurants (late night) but I decided to go during the day (Sunday) , the service was horrible, the waitress had an extreme attitude!! My food was cold, and the complimentary bread we received seemed wet?.. Pretty gross, when I complained about my food being cold she had it heated and it was... More

It was getting late and we were very hungry so just wanted a place that had parking and didn't have a long wait, but Bossa Nova did not disappoint. Service was excellent and food was reasonable-none of us had the Brazilian BBQ as we ordered other items off the menu, but be warned that portions are large especially when sides... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
