Great food and amazing ambiance

Had an excellent dinner in this very ambient restaurant. The signature drinks were really good and matched well with the food. Our server was always there when we needed him. Check out this place.

The interior of this restaurant is quite stunning....I had eaten here years ago and loved it. Went there tonight for dinner. The bar/lounge area was quite busy as they have inexpensive cocktails and "tapas" plates. The dining room was basically empty. We sat in the lounge and ordered 4 small plates. The cauliflower was pretty good, cooked with curry, garlic... More

A friend and I went to La Bohème when I visited Los Angeles, and overall, this place has inattentive service with overpriced food, even on the happy hour menu. We walked in here because we were just wandering on Santa Monica near his house. We saw that they had an "all day happy hour" Sunday through Thursday. Now on the... More

It's a standard, so you know the evening will be okay. I think they can do better. There wasn't anything standout in my meal. But there's new management, so it's worth another shot.

I used to have my birthday Happy Hour here every year for ten years. We were a group of ten. We loved the room. It was like being in an old world Opera House. Then management started changing and everything went downhill. They have consistently hired bad chefs and the prices keep going up. The last straw was the rigid... More

Fantastic Decor. Loved the Happy Hour Drinks. However this place is always empty. Its sad coz its really beautiful. The Wings were really good, Im not sure why they are so proud of their Mac and Cheese, coz you can skip it. The other food is actually good. Its a great lacation.I really wish this place Good Luck.

This is my go to special occasion restaurant since I gave up on Sur West Hollywood several years ago. We started coming here more frequently after we got married in 2008 for our wedding dinner. I was so impressed with Chef Christine's pan Asian / Asian fusion, we continued to come back. Though I loved the food here, the chicken... More

I love the vibe here, especially in the evening. The food was good and the service very good on our last visit - was a memorable meal/evening. I will definitely return!

On first impressions I thought "this is nice and we will have a good night here" the decor although maybe a little dated still seemed relevant and the bar was quite busy although only 6 tables eating. As the evening went on it did not get busier so the atmosphere was flat, service was mediocre. The food was ok but... More

Took my family here to celebrate our anniversary in July. Seated in a booth adjacent to main dining room - nice and secluded but still part of the very impressive main room (awesome chandeliers and wall hangings). Food and service were excellent, and found total check to be very reasonable. Valet parking was available for $6 and was a godsend.... More

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
