The food was above average and the ambiance was nice. However, we were seated in the back of the patio area. The waiters kept turning he heat lamps up and down and up and down. Our dining experience was incredibly uncomfortable. We didn't even finish our meal and were not happy. I would expect better service, especially on valentines day... More

As Italian, I find food at Ago very good, but overall very expensive. Go there if you want to indulge and have a good glass of wine accompanied by a plate of their famous langoustine ! Be prepared to a pricey restaurant, but good Italian food. Not the place to be, but a good alternative when looking for some Italy... More

We ate dinner at Ago based on a recommendation of a friend. We were seated on the patio, which is lovely on a warm night. It is dark and very romantic. Ago had the potential to be so great based on the atmosphere, but the food just wasn't anything special. I ordered a salad and the dressing was so sour... More

We were happy to rediscover this restaurant after a long absence (for no particular reason). Our experience of the food and excellent menu has always been very positive. The service however, has been variable and that impacts the overall experience. In general, for us, the wait staff have never been particularly friendly however I wouldn't say that prevented us from... More

Contemporary Italian food. Very well prepared and presented. Very nice menu and wine list. Service was terrific. Daily specials were much more expensive than regular items...but I guess that isn't unusual. Would be nice if they told us the prices, though. More

Food was fine, though we were there for New Year's Eve and the menu change to a "special" menu left me disappointed. Would've been better off joining them on another regular night with a full menu. In any case, the service was great until we were tagged with a 30% tip (the service did not warrant it) added to our... More

We went there during the week at prime dinner time. The place is contemporary and elegant. The noise level was commensurate with a full restaurant but not obnoxious and conducive to conversation at the table. But when the food came and I had my fist bite all the pleasantries abruptly ended. My pasta was so “al dente” that it was... More

We stopped here before a long drive to Palm Springs. With our reservation we were in in good time and had wine quickly. While they don't have a ton of wines by the glass, the choices were fine for us. We split an appy and they served it already split, which was nice. It was the artichoke and frisee salad,... More

I had an okay meal here. I guess my biggest gripe is the menu doesn't go into enough detail. Being at a business meeting, I didn't want to play 100 questions with the waiter and seem like an eccentric amongst my colleagues. Business lunches aren't about the food, after all. But a little more guidance would have helped me avoid... More
