Description: Koi Los Angeles is a sophisticated blend of feng shui and modern elegance...
Koi Los Angeles is a sophisticated blend of feng shui and modern elegance. Illuminated by candlelight, the natural and intricate details of the restaurant create an elegant dining atmosphere, while the Zen inspired design of earth-toned colors, sleek design, fireplaces and waterscapes all create a stunning atmosphere of harmony by combining subtly luxurious materials with nature’s elements of water, air, fire and light. At Koi, chefs deconstruct traditional Japanese preparations and respectfully re-imagine them, by infusing modern California accents. Sushi chefs and the kitchen staff derive their inspiration from each other resulting in creations like the signature Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna); the Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crabmeat is wrapped in a thin rice crepe paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection.

Great food and atmosphere

Spent NYE at Koi with a group of friends and I must say, the service was excellent and so was the food! We had the chef bring out a variety of dishes since we all decided to share food. Our waiter separated our food and alcohol bill since we had a large group. What a great idea because it made... More

I've been here once but will definitely come back when I am in LA again. I was able to make a reservation for the same day and was seated immediately at an excellent table outside. The waiters were very friendly and, very important, the food was wonderful. A lesser point was the constant crying of a baby at a table... More

Just got back from a week in LA and ate at Koi twice. Wandered in not knowing anything about the restaurant on a Tuesday night. Got seated immediately at a table, looked over the menu and was surprised that they did not have a entry of omakase on the menu. Said it anyways. What I received was some of the... More

I've been about 10 times, and never once was there not some celebrity there, usually I see a famous comedian. A few times paparazzi where located outside. So it is quite a scene. And the food is great too - I love the salmon truffle dish, MMMMMMMM Setting is great, I've always had good service. Yes, it's pricey, but in... More

Wow, this is an amazing restaurant. The best sushi we have had in a long time, and our waitress was amazing, she went through the various specials and made our evening one of the best. This is a great restaurant, fantastic service and food,

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
