My comfort zone

I love how comfortable this restaurant can make you feel. The service is impeccable, the food delicious and the ambiance is just right. Its beginning to become a landmark.

I have driven past this place many times without realizing what a great restaurant this is. The menu is original and surprising, staff is fantastic and so is the food. We had a perfect lunch, and were surprised to find that the waiter was also fluent in Dutch, our mother tongue. Will definitely come back, when I am in LA... More

The service couldn't have been better at Lucques. The food was beautifully presented and all was tasty. It was well seasoned, well prepared, well cooked. The atmosphere was quiet enough that holding a conversation at dinner was a breeze. Perhaps I'm jaded by some of the meals I've had recently, by some of the top chefs in the business, all... More

This place, its incredible! Been here twice and everytime I feel like I'm being reintroduced to life. It's a great menu. Ladies if a dude takes you here and you're not impressed you don't deserve him as a man because he clearly has good taste in food. Guys, this is a great place for romantic dinners. Or for small groups... More

On our trip to the US this was one of two restaurants where we had made reservations in advance. When we walked in the door the room seemed a bit "crowded" and we where asked to wait by the bar where there was no room for us. After 3 minutes we were seated and from there on out we were... More

Lucques is a treat. I have enjoyed outstanding meals and service there. I am frequently afraid of fish but prefer eating it; I can do that with confidence at Lucques. I love its salads as well. Service, from the moment I walk in, has always been great. I am some mixed about 4% "fee" it charges to provide health care... More

This is a must-eat for anyone in Los Angeles. Their Sunday Supper each week is different and unique. The service is fantastic each and every week. We come here once-a-month or so. Love it!!!

The "Sunday Supper" was fabulous- deliciously creative food and extremely good service. My favorite was the duck entrée; it was tasty, well-prepared, and the presentation was beautiful. The peaches and creme pie was excellent! Our waitress was the best... happy, enthusiastic, attentive, professional, and friendly. What a luxurious gem on Melrose!

I have been going to this Suzanne Goin restaurant for many years. It has never disappointed me, the service, food and ambiance are excellent. Last night we sat in the wonderful patio on a balmy, brilliant L.A. evening. There was a nice buzz in the entire restaurant, the entire staff is excellent, attentive and efficiently helpful. I had the most... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
