a bit of alright

We very much enjoyed an annual get together with gourmet friends. As has been noted, the atmosphere is lively but you can have an intimate conversation at the table. There is no annoying background music, and the service was professional. Dinners (halibut, pork and rabbit) were tasty, although... read more

all the food is orgasmic, truly across the board. It's crowded and a bit snobby when you enter, that's annoying but the food makes up for it. There is not one dish I've had there that is not divine

This was a very nice place that was recommended. There is a nice buzz to the place, food and service was excellent. Our waitress was actually from Paris!

We had a fantastic dinner at Lucques, each of the four of us having something different and all walked away satisfied! Their homemade bread is wonderful too. The portions are just right-not the typical overflowing of wasted food. I had the hangar steak which had a great sauce on top.

Charming restaurant located in West Hollywood. They add a 3% charge to the bill to cover for insurance and benefits for their employees which is very cool! The food was good, but a bit on the average side. Great place to go on a date or catch up with friends and family.

Friends from our time in Greenwich, CT in the early 1970's were in Los Angeles and we joined them for diner here. We had not "heard" about it, but it had been highly recommended to them by friends in NYC. None of us were disappointed. We had made recommendations and they appear to be essential on weekends. We "cabbed it"... More

Lucques is in the center of LA's Design District, right on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Great location, beautiful restaurant, superb staff, friendly, listen well, attentive, and assure every guest of a pleasurable dining experience. Even offered espresso to my chauffeur.

Really nice place. Friendly staff, really helpful. Had the gnocchi, fish of the day which was a swordfish and the burger. Presented really well and was as it good as it looks. Expected to pay a bit more per dish so the price point is a plus. Will most definitely come back the next time in Los Angeles

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
