Having visitors from London we were excited to share some fantastic LA dining experiences with them. All my friends had raved about Lucques so we thought this was a great time to experience it with friends who enjoy ood food and good wine. Well were in for a surprise! Itis sucha pleasant space and the menu is interesting. Starters were... More

Lovely setting, friendly service. Sunday night is a set menu, which limited choices, but the food was delicious.

My friend and I were in Hollywood for a show at the Pantages and stopped for Dinner after the matinee performance. I was thrilled to see menu items out of the norm. Los Angeles restaurants all seem to have the same menu lately. We both ordered the ricotta dumplings with vegetables and we shared a Panna Cota for dessert. The... More

I was here for their 'Sunday night dinner' - a prix fix meal including an appetizer, main and dessert for $45. The food was better than average, but I wouldn't rate it as very good. The service however, was wonderful. Water was never left to go empty. The waitress understood that were 'time-limited' and moved things along. I think my... More

It was a business dinner. I've never been to this restaurant before and it was suggested by my business partners who frequented it. The food was really good. I ordered beluga lentil salad which was well balanced for starters and my partners both had white bean soup which looked delicious and I could tell they both enjoyed it. For the... More

This meal was one of the best meals I have ever eaten!!! We shared 2 appetizers and had 3 entrees and each mouth watering dish was better than the last. The portions are small, but the flavors are big. Enjoy!!!

We were four friends dining together on a short trip to LA, one of whom was a former LA resident and suggested Lucques. The room is fairly small, but manages to feel more cozy than crowded and it nicely designed with truly flattering lighting. Service was attentive without being cloying, and friendly without being false. We never waited unduly for... More

I agree with many others that the place is no where near the level of food etc., that the prices imply. We went here because it was their 11th annual cassoulet night. Being cassoulet nuts we were surprised that we had not been aware of the first 10. Pros: The place is pretty in a Hollywoodish way. Our waitress is... More

Beautiful courtyard. Great fresh menu selection and excellent wine list. Staff very knowledgable and helpful. Fresh bread and olives are brought to the table - the best rustic bread! White bean soup was fantastic. Sea Bass was great but found that there was a little too much butter on the cauliflower for our taste. Was able to purchase a cookbook... More

Although the service was good and the food good (though not great), the high noise level was a real bummer....it was drafty as well, which didn't help.
