A Lovely Oasis

English Style high tea is served with delicious sandwiches and scones right in the middle of a lovely tea shop stacked high with jars of tea from all over the world! A 20-plus tea menu describes them all! You will leave satisfied, and usually with a boutique bag of tea for home brewing!

A charming discovery off the madness of Hollywood Blvd. Only intended to get ice tea, but so nice, stayed for hot tea and soup. And what soup, tangy and thick with fine bread for dunking. Biggest surprise, tea prices are quite reasonable.

Just finished a wonderful lunch. Chicken Waldorf Salad was superb and the Pineapple Upside cake to die for. But the best thing is the wonderful friendly service and the extensive tea menu. As a long time drinker of Assam tea, I was pleased to see a range and be offered one of the best blends. Highly recommended and I'll be... More

Delicious tea, wonderful soup and sandwich, salad. A friendly, attentive waitstaff. A great alternative to bland chains

Loved the quiet. It's in a little corner, out of the way. Tea choices were many. Service was good. I love sitting with a nice pot of tea to relax & regroup.

My wife and I have just returned from visiting our daughter in LA and she lives close by to this great little place. We were very pleasantly surprised, especially as tea addicts in visiting a coffee centred culture, to find such a wonderful gem of a place. It is in a quiet and relaxing and peaceful setting. The tea served... More

We had to visit this tea shop again. One of the best places to visit for a brilliant cup of tea. The service was spot on and the food delicious.

Even the snootiest Dowager Countess could not resist the heavenly scones and exquisitely brewed tea at Chado. There is a delectable array of choices from standards to exotic. I can't resist the blooming teas, served in a glass pot so you can see them open up. The afternoon tea service is just right, from the cucumber sandwich to the clotted... More

This place was average in both food and service. Tea sandwiches were just ok. Tea was served lukewarm instead of hot.

Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
