I purchased a voucher for a discounted brunch for two. The hotel was just beautiful, and the food was wonderful. It included the full buffet brunch, omelet bar, and either an extra entree for each of us, or a bottle of champagne. The brunch had so much food that we didn't need the extra food so we had the champagne... More

While we stayed in Hollywood we ate here twice. The first time simply because we were staying in the Roosevelt Hotel, the second time because we loved it so much the first. If you are served wonderful, fresh food by a friendly attentive waiter in a restaurant oozing old time Hollywood ambiance, why wouldn't you go back? And the price... More

We went for a Sunday brunch. Ordered off of the menu vs. the $30 buffet. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. The waitress was very nice. She let me have one of the perfect looking little deserts from the buffet. Food was delicious. I really wanted a custom bloody mary off of the cart that... More

Food was excellent. Cocktails were very good as well. The service was anything but. The server was indifferent and inattentive. We ordered drinks and they took a very long time to show up. When they finally did, we ordered two more rounds. However these drinks did not show up. Our food was excellent but it came out too quickly. We... More

If you ever find yourself in Hollywood, do not pass up a chance to have a meal at Public. Aside from the great ambience in the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Public has the food and service that makes LA a genuine Foodie's Nirvana. The staff is friendly, professional and attentive, and the pork belly, salmon and steak entrees are all... More

A great meal and the staff were terrific. The room is nice, maybe a little dark, but perfect for escaping the streets.

Public Kitchen and Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel was a great spot for a girls night out. Fabulous cocktails, delicious and creative food options and warm, welcoming service. Our reservation was on the early side and it started out quiet, but the vibe got better and better as the night wore on.

Recently transplanted New Yorkers, we were looking for a bar to hang out in, become regulars in... I had been to the Roosevelt years ago and we gave it a try - now it's our Go To place! The bartenders are all friendly and talkative and the food is excellent. The Chicharones (think fried thick bacon) is amazing and a... More

I was on an architectural tour of Los Angeles and we spent several hours on Hollywood Boulevard. We had a tour of the TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman's) and it was mentioned that we should pay a visit to the Roosevelt Hotel across the street, since so many movie stars had lived there, most notably Marilyn Monroe. While at the... More
