Best Bartenders in LA!

In the heart of Hollywood, there are no shortages of great bars to wet your whistle but the best? The bar at Public. Yes, the cocktails are stellar, the happy hour is a steal and the food is great but what REALLY makes this place? The bartenders. Every single one of them is a gem but I really have... read more

A friend chose this restaurant because it was close to my hotel, but we should have gone somewhere else! The service was wonderful, but the food so bland and lackluster. If you need to eat at the Roosevelt Hotel, go to 25 Degrees; the burgers and fries are a lot cheaper and better than anything we had at Public Kitchen.

A friend and I visited the Roosevelt Hotel on Saturday, March 14th for a night cap. We enjoyed dinner in the lobby restaurant Public Kitchen and Bar. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Malika was so kind and even though she had lost her voice we were able to still laugh and communicate.... More

I always eat here whenever I'm in town. Chef Vincent Cachot is truly passionate about the best quality, freshness and proper presentation of food. He was kind enough to explain to me about the different dishes that I tried out this time around. I had the Steak Tartare which came with a quail egg, parsley, radish, and horseradish. You mix them... More

Went here thinking it was a nice steak house. The service was soso. The wine list was soso but the Justin and the Jayson. Didn't find my waiter very knowledgeable about wine. The sword fish was eaten 1/4 had better many places. I would not recommend. I won't be coming back here.

I went to Public Kitchen for a friend's birthday. We had four girls and from the initial greeting, we knew that it was worth making the reservation here. They seated us at a corner table with a warm birthday greeting for the birthday girl! We ordered appetizers to start that were great for sharing and so delicious especially the kale... More

Great location inside the historic Hollywood Roosevelt. Service is excellent and the kale salad at lunch is enough for two people. Had a company dinner there as well and the service excellent for our group. Location is great and walking distance from everything on Hollywood Blvd.

Nicely prepared food, with good beer menu. Service and ambiance are good, with friendly staff. The smoked salmon and burgers are surprisingly tasty for hotel fare.

Loved the omelet and the kale salad. Both so good... the omelet seemed decadent and the kale balanced it out. Capped it off with a well paired glass of champagne. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

I did not stay at the hotel but stopped to view the hotel. The restaurant is not as eye appealing as the hotel so take the time to walk around the lobby area of the hotel and walk out to the pool area. The food was great and service was too. I highly recommend the coffee!!!
