Overall good food and service

Generally good food and above average service, nice cocktails and good food. Not sure I'd call it a unique experience and some of the dishes lacked a little seasoning and others flavour, but overall very good. Portion size is more what I am used to in the UK as opposed to in the US and this... read more

An enchanting dinner. There is a wonderful outdoor dining space and decor feels rustic chic. The menu matches - I don't know why but I felt like this would fit in perfectly in the Hamptons, vibe and price included. Modest-sized portions, very well executed. Think salmon rillettes, wheat berry salad and hand cut tagliatelle. Just be ready to spend a... More

I cannot say enough good things about the dining experience at Eveleigh. I live in the neighborhood and have been wanting to try this place for months; last night finally went and WOW! The ambiance is absolutely charming; wonderful outdoor seating area (you'll never know you're on the Strip), and the interior space was bustling. Right from the start, this... More

This place is unlike any other restaurant I've been to and a refreshing reprieve from the crazy hustle and bustle of Sunset Blvd. We almost walked past it as it was camouflaged by some hedges and had no sign. But once in it was like we were in another world. The ambiance is relaxed and rustic. The restaurant has a... More

Food was great, the atmosphere was beautiful, staff was polite and friendly! Sat outside and even though there were cars flying by right behind us, it was still a nice scene.

This is a ridiculously expensive restaurant even for LA. Ate there with three other people. Had two orders of overpriced oysters at $3.50 each but when they came the waiter said the the restaurant did not have the special oyster forks to eat them with. Why serve something in a restaurant that you do not have the tools to eat... More

The setting is beautiful, with a gorgeous patio strung with fairy lights and a rustic-modern look. The food was good, nothing to die for - but perhaps we tried the wrong items on the menu.

A great place to go in WEHO. A great place to sit outside off the street. The one criticcism is that I felt we were oversold on the food, we were encourgaged to order more than we could ever eat. It is a sharing menu but the large items are really large. However if you bear that in mind I... More

My friends and I were delighted to see the chef picking fresh herbs from the windowbox gardens surround the outside of the restaurant. Shaped like a farmhouse, we sat in the back section that has an open-air roof (retractable, to filter out light and heat and let in the cooler breeze and starry sky of the evening. The floors were... Went for dinner; 7 of us in total. Ordered a large varierty of starters which are for sharing; all very good indeed and then we each had our own main courses. Its a buzzy place with good atmosphere. We sat out back in the open, nder cover, as less noisy but just as busy. One of those LA restaurants which... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
